In case you haven’t noticed yet, Blair’s August Newsletter is up, feature not only the usual obscurity, but also some studio goodness. Many pictures are up, including lots already seen on Adam’s Myspace site, but there’s also plenty of new ones. CHeck it out at Toolband.
I get the feeling that somethings going to happen soon, some information will be shared, hopefully worthwhile this time. It’s Joe’s (presumably Joe Baressi) birthday today, August 16th according to Toolband so I thought I’d share with you all an interview with ex-Helmet/Tomahawk/Mark of Cain drummer John Stanier, where he talks (amongst other things) about Joe’s recording techniques. There’s been many posts on Toolband and Toolarmy lately, mainly involving the Vinyl release. Those Americans who’ve ordered the vinyl (non-autographed) should have recieved it by now, or will recieve it shortly. Still no firm details on the Autographed vinyl though. Anohter update on Toolband and Toolarmy indicates that: The Autographed Lateralus Vinyl is on it’s way to the printers.
