for anyone that has a life outside the internet and actually talks to people (ie not me haha)
um..is all this total nonesense crazyness just on the internet or is it extending out in the “real world” as well?..because honestly..i just want to read some legit news on sites/forums/etc and i am overfuckingwhelmed with all the bullshit. its really sad.
i think i might actually become physically sick…

No, it’s all online. I know a number of tool fans irl, and not a one of them knows about all the chicanery and asshattery on the net.

people, haven’t you noticed?
the world’s freaking out all around us! it’s not just the internet. it’s not just the tool album. everyone’s spun.
all the hate and fear and anger… everybody’s stuck in their own little bubble, and everyone’s farting in it till it stinks them to death. nobody does anything constructive, because everyone’s so afraid of being meaningless and puny… but that’s what makes everybody so small: not acting upon what you feel is true and creative. always so afraid of what people will say… always trying to be so “perfect” and plastic. and the world reflects that, and we reflect the world.
reality tv tv reality. chicken and egg. and why are people so afraid of not fitting in? why are people so disturbed by the chance of being unique and and bright and glorified? possibly because they’re scared to be left behind in the big collapse into singularity? maybe because they’ve been unaccepted by their parents, and need to reflect that on society?
or maybe because they are so shallow and unaccepting, that they believe that the world is as unaccepting as they are and never will allow for themselves to be real.
sorry i had to crap that on you guys. it’s been sitting there for a while, and you know what they say:
better out than in…
50 days to go. how fiendishly exciting.
