Blair posted on Toolband/Army today that Vicarious, the first single will be played on the radio on the 17th of April. No doubt it will leak before then….
As usual there’s plenty of speculation going around, primarily on the Toolnavy boards. Systolic seems to think that the radio station he knows has the single, and was going to play it on the 3rd of April (with permission of management). Now they’re not so sure, however he assures us the single will leak this week regardless.
Ghostof747, also on Toolnavy announced that he too heard the track from a radio station mate (wish I had a radio station friend) and he posted some tabs. He promised a cut from the single (he only had it on tape apparently) but as yet nothing has come of this.
Personally, i’m getting a little sick of all the rumour mongering. Whether or not these guys are on the level, there’s just too much crap going around, far more than what I remember from the Lateralus days.
The good news is, it’s not much longer now. Just 30 days to go………………………..

systolic, tpd, and ghostof747 are all the same guy playing an April Fools prank on the board. We caught him in the act. They are never all three logged on at the same time, we caught him lying about himself, and also two of the three screennames even had the same icon next to their names before magically they were removed after someone brought this up. April Fools.
Sorry, but just to be accurate, tpd is not actually systolic or ghostof747. He actually tried to pose as systolic to get “ghost” to send him the file, because at the time, that was the bs ghost was spewing.

yea, tpd was actually just taking the piss out of systolic for his inconsistent and stupid posts, and then ghost offered to give him the file. ghost kept claiming it was on an audio tape and wanted to meet up with someone to give it to them, and when offers were made, ghost wouldn’t respond.
ghost was bullshitting of course, because he’s a wanker.
it was then revealed that ghost was some punk 14 year old kid in church choir or some shit.

yeah, ghost kept acting strangley whenever he mentioned systolic, and kept acting like he couldnt give anyone the single until systolic was around. And then when he signed systolic on, he instantly had the single ghost supposedly sent. He eventually confessed, and when he did it was still filled with more confusing lies. This is all crap, and it all looked like crap from the very begining. Im sorry, but casette tape??? Tool fans are so eager and impatient some of us seem willing to believe anything.
I like Systolic’s thread right after the april 17th date was announced. He basically got panicy, and then procceeded to suddenly cover his ass in case NOTHING happens with his friend.
you all seem to feel such distaste for this systolic person, yet you perpetuate him by so thoroughly delving into his actions and words… doing that, you simply revitalize his essence and give him the attention he desires. you are encouraging him to go ahead and feed you more of his poison.

I mean who really cares that he heard the damn song, if he did? it’s not like we can gain anything by knowing how it sounds or what the time signatures are. And I think now he’s saying something about getting it from his friend or something? Who cares about that too? Just wait till you hear it in the next 2 weeks or so.
Even with these new people coming on claiming to have the leaked song. Not sure why anyone even listens to them. No matter how impatient or eager they are.
Everyone should just relax….. Lateralus didnt leak until the cds were shipped to the stores 4 or 5 days before release. Tons of fake stuff was rumor around leading up to the release, but nothing real surfaced until a week before retail release…. i dont see 10000 days being any different.
