With Tool being lauded for their incendiary, imagistic shows, why has there never been a live DVD or even CD?
Well, we really planned on making it during last year but we just ran out of time. At the end of the Lateralus tour we made a big effort, and even video-recorded the last ten shows and audio-recorded the last fifteen, so we have all this material. There is a chance, if we have time, that we are going to start going through it and editing for a live DVD, so I’m hoping that we will have one out.

How many times have we hear that before? Broken/Empty promises that are never delivered, just like that cunt Steve Bracks. In summary, they talk the talk but don’t walk the walk. Do we know if Doors is actually a guy yet? Doors could be a gal. I keep trying to communicate with Doors but get no descent response. It’s a little heartbreaking for me

best interview i have ever read. Danny just gives it to you straight. To me, he’s the wisest of them. It’s weird to get an inside glimpse of how they work. All bands, even a band like tool, has moments where they wanna kill each other.
I love tool so much. My heart and soul.
