Happy Halloween, Daily Grail

There’s several new posts on Toolband/Army detailing a recent Halloween Hollywood tour conducted by Camella, Blair and co. It’s an interesting read, but if you’re looking for Tool news, go elsewhere. There’s also a couple of pictures up as well.

It was also revealed that some more Signed Lateralus Vinyl was released to celebrate Halloween. Not many were available apparently, and it seems as though they’re all gone. Well done if you managed to score one.

Finally, the latest issue of Sub Rosa magazine is out, and features an article talking about Blair‘s Crowley collection, and also talks about Danny‘s as well.

Anyone else seeing Tool more than once when they come over here? If you answered yes in your head then you’re a stooge. You’re paying for the one show twice. They barely switch things around with their setlist, that’s one of the main reasons why they are such a fucking boring band live. Danny, “Hey Nard, why don’t we fuck around with the setlist?”…Maynard, “Alright, we’ll play Rosetta Stoned instead of Prison Sex…Danny (nervous smile), “Umm, alright.” They’ve toured, they sold more records now they focus all of their energies to projectors, lasers, smoke, and two naked people to take… Read more »

Good Point Hellboy. I just can’t put down the newest Opeth CD. It just rocks!

As for the live shows, nobody else really does the effects to the same level. I certainly appreciate the expense they go to produce a listening and visual experience unmatched by other bands. Let’s face they usually do one or the other really well.

Great bands like Opeth put on a great listening experience but do not have any effects or gimicks. I say whatever makes you happy man then do it. Irrespective of what other people think!

‘Anyone else seeing Tool more than once when they come over here?’

A comment like that would suggest that you yourself are going twice, would it not?

Like I said Doors see you at the Show. How many shirts will you buy? I bet you’ll get 2 and 1 with a hoodie. And a cap!

I bet you love the merch! Don’t be slack, and support the band that LOVES YOU!

“They barely switch things around with their setlist, that’s one of the main reasons why they are such a fucking boring band live.” sounds like your boring ass comments that are always the same. …but i agree. if i wasnt such a toolfucker i probably would have found the show pretty boring. but i always love hearing the new songs live. i mean, adam took two steps the whole time. justin, none. maynard is really the only thing to watch, and despite what you might think, the lasers sucked. i wish i was fucked on acid and in the stands… Read more »
