Tool + Motörhead

Motörhead guitarist Phil Campbell joined Tool on stage in Leipzig, Germany on Monday night. According to Blabbermouth, he playing Sober with the guys, and also allegedly also played with them in Cardiff, though this is the first I’ve heard of it. Here’s hoping Billy Thorpe doesn’t join Tool on stage Down Under…

Edit: According to the tour journal at Distortion Online, Phil played during Swamp Song in Cardiff, and on Sober in Leipzig.
I’ve been cultivating and chipping away at few new Puscifer tunes out here. Claiming I’m homesick and eager to finish up these song sketches would be an understatement.
I really, really hope he raps at some point during Puscifer.

Yeah, me too, at the beginning of Rosetta Stoned he almost kinda raps and its really cool.

Yeah, Puscifer is kinda a joke anyway, why not rap.

Joke, not in a bad way… in a “check your over inflated expectations at the door” thing. Let’s face it, look at the fucking site.

Rev 22:20 is just a big joke, too. For anyone who doesn’t know Rev 22:20, it’s “Yes, jesus is coming, and surely he comes quickly.” Though I’m sure it varies a tiny bit bible to bible.

He better rap. Imagine “FLA-VER-FLAVE!” but as “MAY-NARD-JAMES!”

And, hey, look, if you combine the two Pushits, it’s beating Third Eye!

They should totally be combined.

As would I… unless someone ran up on stage and Maynard wrestled him down. But I voted for Resolution. (I really voted for Maynard’s Dick, but I’m not admitting that. In actuality, I would definitely have chosen Resolution. [Yeah right.])

Everyone knew even before the poll that Third Eye would win, so it would be nice to see something else do it instead. Like Pushit.

What if it does! and they go “oh, Third Eye, that figures.” and they don’t do it!

Hahahah I think I’m over doing this. I’m going for a walk.

Maynard’s diiiiiiiiick.

Sorry, I still stand by my statement that that would rock so much live. Tool should do more joke songs like that, and the lounge jazz version of Hooker With a Penis (found it on a bootleg, great stuff).

It’s not that great, but I found this in last month’s Rolling Stone. “Autolux, By Maynard James Keenan. I’m a big fan of Autolux. I can’t seem to get that band out of my stereo. They’re part of that Silver Lake shoegazer scene, parts of which I hate, but the way they do it, I love it. I like the combination of guitarist Greg Edwards, who used to be in the Failure, and the Sonic Youth vibe from the rest of the band. It’s kind of like the music that inspired Nirvana, like the Descendants and Dag Nasty. I wasn’t… Read more »

you seriously need help.
Do you often talk to yourself?
Do you have a problem with that?
How’s my official fourth eye John Butler mask
coming along? I believe it involves a bucket with
a couple of holes for the eyes and some shit.
