Blair has posted the lyrics for Jambi on Toolarmy today. Non-Toolarmy members will just have to continue humming along until someone posts them online. Blair also plugs the V is for Vagina CD from Puscifer, which is available for pre-order on the Puscifer site. It’s not very Tool-ish for those that haven’t heard any yet. Those wanting something more Toolish will just have to wait until December…
“Those wanting something more Toolish will just have to wait until December…”
That wasnt posted on the by blair do you know something he and we dont?
I doubt I know something Blair doesn’t, unless of course it’s a hoax. I’ve been sworn to secrecy but can’t say too much, but if it is true, it’ll come as a surprise to very few.
Maybe those two music videos will finally be released
^Hellboy give us a clue please. What do you know? And who have you sworn secrecy to? I’m curious.
Can’t give you much more of a clue that what I already have. It something that’s been promised for a while now, but probably not what everyone really wants. My contact is no one important, unless it’s an alias. There is also a reasonably chance this isn’t legit, hence my hesistancy to go much further, The evidence I’ve seen so far is pretty good, but not good enough to declare it a “sure thing”.
My first thought is live dvd but when he says its probably not something everyone wants it think it couldnt be that because everyone wants a live dvd.
why dont you post them online Hellboy ?
You mean post the lyrics? Because I believe it’s not my place to post Toolarmy exclusive stuff on this site. If/when it is posted on Toolband, then I’ll consider posting them.
Besides, it’s not too hard to find the lyrics on the web anyway.
your call i respect that .. This is the best tool site , its interactive and objective . I think its not important to say what i would do , i have no tool site .
And its not important my action.. like i notice in the polls ..when people normally vote, they do it thinking on what they would do and not on they think its best. I found that curious (most of time i think, not always)Tool army fans are lucky people i guess, congrats

The only thing I can think of the HB is alluding to would be, I don’t want to say break-up, but a “parting of ways” or “indefinate hiatus” for the band. Maybe a farewell tour/album announcement.
HB mentions it here every now and then so it wouldn’t be a suprise and it’s definately something most of us really don’t want.
Hellboy say it isn’t so. If I’m completely of the mark can you rule it out.
My guess would be Vicarious/The Pot DVDs. Or maybe 10,000 Days remixed in 5.1.
I can assure you all that the rumour is a release, and not a break up.
Just like they did last Christmas (December 20 actually) with Schism and Parabola, Tool will release the videos for both Vicarious and The Pot as seperate dvds sometime in December. That’s my prediction. Not a bad move considering both the Schism dvd and the Parabola dvd have each sold over 500,000 copies in the U.S. alone – not a bad way to make a few bucks around Xmas time.
Ah ok….
Good to hear, not that I believed it to be true, but you never know.
Yeah definately a music video dvd release or two. I suppose “not what everyone really wants” is true, most want a live dvd not a couple of singles.
Don’t know if I’ll get them, I don’t have Schism or Parabola, and I only really bought Salival for the cd and the purty pictures.
My ideal would have the Vicarious DVD featuring a live version of the song mixed in 5.1 with the live intro included. I’d actually hope they’d mix both the songs into 5.1, but I’m not holding my breath on either of these ideas.
-The Pot DVD single
-Vicarious DVD single
-Both Vicarious and The Pot DVD single together
-A Salival-type release
-Live DVD
-The Tool movie
-Vinyl 10,000 Days
-Re-release of some or one Tool album(s)
-EP
-New album
-A DVD about the art behind Tool
-A rarities CD
-Greatest hits CD
Etc…
5.1 is a misguided dream; ask any sound engineer!
Why is it such a fool’s errand?
