Puscifer Live Rumour

The Gauntlet has a (very brief) article on Maynard, the Wine Signings and the new Puscifer Store and I picked up this little tidbit: Responding to rumors of a live incarnation of Puscifer and a possible Las Vegas outing this February, Keenan offered no confirmation but a knowing smile. Not really much point reading the rest of the article unless you’re a die hard.

Tool Collector

  • Tool

A Tool site that’s been around for a while now, Tool Collector has had a change of URLs recently. The site, formerly toolcollector.net can now be found at http://www.toolcollector.nin-au.com/ For those that are interested, the webmaster Ryan keeps a record of all the Tool releases he’s collected over the years, with plenty of pictures to gawk at.  Well worth a visit for most Tool fans.

Momma Sed video

I read this in Maynard‘s Myspace post the other day, but for some reason thought nothing of it.  Thanks to Jake for pointing out to me that the Momma Sed video is now streaming on Myspace.  It seems to be a full version of the Sunglasses ad that we saw a month or so ago. Momma Sed

D is for Dubby

Oldesch on Toolarmy tells me that there is a new Puscifer remix album available on Puscifer.com called D is for Dubby. This album contains nine tracks all remixed by Lustmord: Dub remixes from “V is for Vagina” by the elusive O.G. Goth legend, LUSTMORD. Lot’s of Dub out there in the world. Some of it is actually done correctly. Lustmord is one of the few who do it right. Turn… Read More »D is for Dubby

Adam Jones talks Guitar Hero

Haven’t watched this yet, but apparently this Rolling Stone video interview features Adam talking about his involvement in Guitar Hero. Thanks to Nathan for the tip! Note: The video doesn’t seem to work in Firefox. IE and Google Chrome seem to handle it fine. Could be Adblock or something interfering. Who knows….

Meshuggah

Lined up for 20 minutes to get in via metal detector.  Opening band Alchemist were ok.  HQ is a pretty good venue for live bands, everytime I’ve been there the sound has been excellent and the layout of the venue makes you feel quite close to the band. I though the size of the crowd last night was a little small.  Those that were there seemed pretty into the show… Read More »Meshuggah

Tool – The Ultimate Review

A Tool DVD of sorts looks like it will be coming out sometime soon according to dennispuleo on Toolarmy: They’ve been together almost 20 years and have survived more of American Rock’s sub-genres than any other band still relevant today [from Thrash to Grunge, Nu-Metal to AOR] but Tool have garnered a respect, from fans and critics alike, that other groups could only dream of; a respect built on raw… Read More »Tool – The Ultimate Review

Slow News Week

Not much has happened this week, so here’s a few  Tool and non-Tool related items I noticed going on. The Puscifer store is either open, or opening very soon Jerome Arizona according to a post from Blair on Toolband.  Not doubt most of the merchandise available from the Puscifer online store can also be had there. Daily Grail are having a donation drive at the moment, and are offering a… Read More »Slow News Week
