Tool, Tour May 28th, 2009

I was forwarded an email just a moment ago from Hodge at Toolnavy, while confirms that Tool are playing in Toronto on the 6th of August at the Molson Ampittheatre. Great news for those Canadians hoping for a show! (unless you don’t live anywhere near Toronto)

first of all congratulations on those seeing tool , i hope you enjoy the shows as much as i did

Regarding to other things, anyone of you as heard the o.s.t. of crank2 scored by mike patton ? and if yes what is you opinion on it ?

Yes, Blair just announced the Atlanta show change:

SOME CHANGES TO TOOL TOUR DATES

Please note that the on-sale date for RIO RANCHO, NM has been changed to JUNE 6. ALSO, the JULY 27 Atlanta show has been switched to DULUTH at GWINNETT ARENA (July 27, with tickets on-sale JUNE 6).

Anybody hear anything about any potential dates in portland? My cousin said he heard they were coming to some venue there but did not specify which and so I told him I’d ask around. Anything potentially happening there hellboy?

I’ve heard that the tour (excluding festival dates) will be aroud 14 shows. Given that we have 8 confirmed at the moment, and two more unconfirmed, I suspect there will be 4 more left to be discovered. I’d guess we’d be looking at shows in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and something in SoCal (not LA according to Blair!). I haven’t heard any rumours to support these though, so it’s really just speculation on my part.

Oh yeah, HB, from your mouth to TººL’s ears… That would be excellent. I have been diligently seeking out even the slightest rumor of a Bay Area TººL date, with nothing to show for it so far.

I knew Tool would pull something like that! I’m an hour north of Toronto, and when I heard Tool’s hitting Lolla, I grabbed a ticket early.. A month later, they announce a show in Toronto the day we are supposed to leave for Chicago. Oh well, guess we’ll just have to hit both!
