New footage to go with what might’ve been filmed during the last ’07 tour for a DVD release which might explain the same stage setup, Light show, Maynard wearing the same mohawk as the last tour?

Driving to Phoenix tonight can’t wait to hear RS, Flood and lateralus again and if they play the cover cool if not that’s fine I GOT TO SEE TOOL LIVE AGAIN…

Dude, you’re making way more of a big deal of this than is really necessary.
Here’s a couple of points:
1. 90% of bands play sets that contain about 80% the same songs.
2. Tool have only played one show so far, therefore who are we to judge that future sets will be identical.
3. As I mentioned, U2 play the same set list night after night – I’m sure I could come up with plenty of others.
4. Since when have Tool really cared about what fans want in the set list?
5. Does the set list even matter on the night? Bands that I’ve seen live multiple times that are any good, are good regardless of the songs the play.

You’ve already said they played a song not on the 10k Days list. Now you contradict yourself?

Do I really need to make a list of bands who play the same set every night? U2 is one off the top of my head.

That was a mistake. I forgot flood was played on the last tour. Sorry.
It does matter hellboy. Name one other band that is this repetative. FANS CARE ABOUT NEW SETLISTS. I would still see them if given the chance even though it is the same lame set. But all other bands realize there fans see them multiple times and accomadate them just like toolband accomadates us with presales.
