Blair has released the October newsletter (written before the site maintenance so it says) and it contains ten frightening moments encountered while on tour with the band. It’s actually an interesting read, so check it out on Toolband.
So… is Tool going to tour in Australia soon??? Is that what he means at the end there?
Blair starts by writing: “Seeing how there really isn’t much going on with the band at the moment”
This quote is probably a code revealing that Tool is working on their live DVD.
I like how Blair makes a little side note saying the newsletter was written before the site went down but makes no effort to actually talk about the site going down.

i am amazed that he did not take the time to explain what was going on with the site being down this long. what an inconsiderate, arrogant punk that guy is. unbelievable!!

Nothing major has been hapening in the Tool world for the last 2-3 years. Don’t expect anything for at least 2011 too, so I don’t know why you’re getting your paties in a bunch.

I think Blair totally spaced the newsletter completely. Usually I like to give Blair the benefit of the doubt, but this, to me, implies that he doesn’t really give a shit about the newsletter stuff. Oh well. I think I’m going to go outside now.

What nerve that Blaire has. Doesn’t he realize that people like us plainly and simply live for Tool and Tool Army? What do I have to do during my days now when Tool Army isn’t working properly? Help my mom clean my basement? Fuck that shit! I need to talk about Tool! I don’t care how obvious it is that nothing is going on with that band right now, I want more information from Blaire about what everybody in that band is doing. It’s my God-given right. I guess all I can do during these dark times is comment about a pitiful newsletter. It’s not like I’m ever going to pick up a hobby or anything.
I must say I enjoyed Blair’s newsletter FINALLY> I thought it was rather amusing and a great read. (Oh wow that’s two Blair compliments from me in like two weeks, I should get a “room” with him)
Just saying…I thought it was pretty funny. Perhaps if he wrote more things that …meh fuck it.
