Toolarmy is back online. Thankfully my prediction of it being permanently down turned out to be false. You can all stop spamming my comments boards now

Update: It’s back, but seems a little borked. I couldn’t post a comment for example.

Obviously the websites are back online. However, unfortunately, the “MESSAGE BOARDS” and features related to them are still currently undergoing maintenance and will be unavailable until further notice. Now that I can once again post, let me clear up something about my earlier announcement regarding Tool Army going dark for a while: I posted this moments after receiving the news, myself, but didn’t expect the TOOL BAND site to ALSO be shut down (obviously!).
To be fair, I don’t think there’s any point blaming Blair for any of this. Kinda like blame Tool for not playing a gig when the power is out…

I might update my prediction and say they’ve fixed it for the sake of Toolband, but the future of Toolarmy I suspect still has some clouds over it…

I agree with Hellboy. Toolband (which relies on TA for the News feature to function) is now looking back to normal. Getting that functional again was obviously their prime concern.
Still no mention of what happened or what they’re planning. Fucked.

not for nothing, but I just checked, and they are back down again. They being TA.
It is a little disgusting how happy I was to be able to log on.
I’ve gone without alcohol and drugs for longer and not ‘jones’ as much.
Still no posting or PMs though.
Guess I’ll just have to do a little reading.
At least it isn’t gone for good.

who should we blame then, if not Blair, the moderator of the site. again, here we are months ahead of the last newsletter. he clearly does not care about the site, in my opinion. maybe he doesnt have time to care, i dont know. but the way things are handled on that site is not good. and it is not just this incident, it is alot of things. even now, they have the ability to post us an explanation, and all we get from Blair is some vague blurb about how he didnt know it was going to happen so fast. why not use this as an opportunity to explain why, the site has been down for so long.

Minor update:
Someone may be working on the TA server. The response briefly changed for me when attempting to open or send a PM, create a topic, etc…

Pretty insignificant, but if it means somebody is actively making changes / troubleshooting it, that’s a good sign.

I still blame Blair for this….this was all his fault. Everything that’s wrong in life is his fault….I believe the sooner we all recognize this as being the case, the sooner we’ll all have the happy, problem-free lives we deserve.

I still cant log on to TA. It’s been 11 months for me now.
It’s very strange to see the Message Boards empty. All that bickering and bullshit is gone. All gone. It’s like that part in a movie where someone is watching an important building/home go up in flames and now Denzel has to live a life in solitude in the mountains. Perhaps he is on the run from the law. The camera pans out to show him walking away from the burning house. Then the credits roll. I call it “ToolArmy of One”.
I also love how I can now post stuff without the worry of getting denounced. Oh wait…is that feature still working?
Oddly, enough, it is. Some douchebagge could take offense at what you post HERE, and then go denounce you on TA.
I was down one when TA crashed, but some kind soul (Nathan) wasted one of his fake karma shots on me to get me back to +10.
What I’m wondering is if you can still amass precious, precious TA points. But since they’re as rare as hen’s teeth to me, I’ll probably never find out. I’m so close to becoming a DramaTurd…. it’s driving me CRAZY!!! That’s all I can think about… must…. get…. more…. points!!!!!
