    hrrrm… funny.

I’m wondering how many Tool fans will be looking for themselves on film of the signing sessions?

American humor like everything else American is very in your face. America doesn’t know subtlety and they keep a ridiculous double standard. British humor is subtle and basically you have to be really paying attention to catch it.

Some would say it is dry.

To the previous comments about humor.  Don’t be so up tight . I didn’t really see it as a comedy anyway. I like the show the office, both UK and US versions. I think that’s what this will be like.

it’s hilarious how many people whine because they’ve never had an inside look at the members of TOOL, then when the lead singer comes out with, what looks like, an in depth documentary about himself and his hobbies, they “shake their head about it”.

really… come on bom. have you ever heard me say anything about wanting an inside look at maynard or the band… i just shuck my head at you bud… hes selling himself.

Oh, you’re the OGT from ‘92?
Point that fuckin’ finger up your ass.

    “hes selling himself”

do you realise some people love wine just as much as tool? documentaries are informative, i hardly think theres huge money to be made here. its a movie on one of maynards interests and accomplishments and nothing to do with tool.
there might be alot of people who dont even listen to maynards music who think its about time for a movie like this.

    peace.

looks like a very well done film of itself, despite the content. Hopefully this will shed some light onto why he thinks wine is more important than Tool fans. *snicker* ;)

and hopefully he is stewing up some fresh material for new Tool lyrics :D

i didn’t say you specifically, and i just quoted you because it made my point.  with the following TOOL has developed by now, if any of them (Maynard ESPECIALLY) wanted to make retarded sums of money by just selling their face, they could.  I bet the only people who even know this documentary is coming out are Wino’s and TOOL fans.  He probably won’t make a whole lot off of it.  Definately not as much as a new TOOL record would make him.  I’ll probably get flamed for defending him,  but be logical.

This looks really good! I really like the “My Heart is a Drum Machine” shirt that he has on but I can’t find it online anywhere. Maybe it will go on sale when that documentary is released (the premier already happened).

  19. enokNo Gravatar | December 23rd, 2009 at 1:48 am

he kinda is selling his face…  he could of just been a narrator. but no, hes sitting with tim and eric…doing his maynard schtick. and thats fine. ill prolly watch it. but ill have my arms folded and my brow furrowed. nnyahh.

This will be great to see after YEARS of him working on this and finally be able to put his wine out there these last couple of years. He’s one funny guy and it’s good see that he’s fit that part of him in this trailer. He did start doing stand-up then fell into some band that i can’t remember the name of right now.

Personally it’s good that he is in it to be able to see his expressions as he talks about his wine, etc… and see the sincerity in his eyes about his “hobby”. This isn’t TOOL right?

People rag on this guy for so much it’s quite sad. He put his heart & soul into TOOL and i’m sure he does that for everything he does and he still gets shit for it.

Look YES they will work/ing on another album and we’re ALL looking forward to that and in the meantime what else is he going to do. Hey A D A M How’s the “Pot” DVD going? Hey Justin… Wake up! You knocked the bong over… AGAIN! Hey Danny Damn! You’re a tall guy but it’s been great seeing you play tha last 2 weeks at The Baked Potato and i’ll be there again on monday.

Crap! I gotta get back to work and wait for their replies.

    Happy Holidays everyone.

Hey Aussies be on the look out for a friend of mine that just got signed by a label down under. Tour coming soon she added. For those interested:

I agree with you ganja. MJK is sharing and here we are ready to
Judge why he’s doing it. Maybe the same reason he shares his life
experiences through songs??? Nah… That makes too much sense. He
    must need the $$
