As long as they’re still talking about making new music, I can wait. I was starting to get worried (especially when TA went down) that they might have folded up the tent & moved on.

I’m in a band and I know how some singers can be, very impatient and sometimes rushing of the creative process which really pisses off the band so cool for Maynard doing his own thing while the music gets created, hopefully he never holds up the process due to his wine making and whatever else he does, he must be just about made of money by now.

some people love to blame Maynard James for everything that frustrates people about this band. TOOL has made a living out of making people want more. to the 5-6 years between albums. to the music videos. to the no encore at live shows. to the lack of photo shoots and interviews. ect….. they blow your mind, and leave you wanting more.
people just need to be patient and realize this is how they work. sure, its frustrating sometimes…..but go pick up a fucking hobby or two if you are one of the whiners that cant handle it.

He did say like 3yrs ago we’re going start writing the new album right away. If you look back he has always been doing something in between albums. In another interview I saw awhile back with all of them, it seemed like Adam was a little upset with the whole APC thing. He said(Adam)something along the lines of “it’s like when you were little kids and your friend goes and plays with another group of kids and you’re standing over here saying hey I’m over here ready to play now when are you coming back”. So yea , I understand what he’s saying. I hope the rest of the guys see this and get shit going.
