$20 with two hours left.

That might be an wasy one for a collector to it…I may be a buff, maven, even admirer and fan but the funds are just too tight, even at that low, low price. But it is all groovy and good luck to the lucky bidder….

2. Damn, I wonder if that’s the price it went for at the actual show. Probably not.

Lachy, did you get my poster in the mail?

3. No unfortunately it hasn’t arrived yet, not thinking that it’s going to. As far as the doodle goes I would imagine that is pretty close to the original price tag!

4. Yea gotta agree that although $600 on that doodle is a little pricey…cant be more than a hundo over what it cost at the show.

5. First time poster/lonnnng time lucker–but wondering if anybody knew the best site (i.e. ebay/stubhub) for re-selling tickets? I bought two GA for Redrocks, but can’t make it now.

Depends on whether you’re planning on selling the tickets at face value or not. If scalpings your game (and I hope it isn’t) then Ebay and Stubbhub probably are your best bet.

If you’re willing to help out a fellow APC fan at a reasonable price then you’ll find that the ticket trading thread in our forum, or the equivalent on Toolnavy might be useful…

Thanks much…just looking for face value. :)

8. compaired to the signed poster i have that sig. is fake. close but no cigar.

9. ‘][' [[]] [[]] ][,
Look at this counterfeit bullshit. What a disgrace.

i dont have a ticket of Authanticity bullshit..(can easily photoshop one like others do).. but I state my reputation on it that this is genuine and i wouldnt risk losing business if it was bullshit..”

Laughable.

I have no idea if that signed Salival is legit or not, but to be honest there’s nothing that jumps out screaming “this is fake” to me.

other than the fact that its an “autographed” bootleg from one of the most militant anti-taping/”bootlegging” bands in music history.

Don’t know that I’d go that far.

I wouldn’t read too much into what was actually signed. I think this is neither the first nor last time a Tool member would sign something other than a genuine Tool item.

13. Maybe, but why would Adam stop by a random record store in Australia, on the day of a show, just to trade some old LPs?
Why would Adam sign a bootleg TOOL record that he and the rest of the band probably have no knowledge of releasing?
Why would the seller go out of their way to say there isn’t a PSA certificate available?
I’m not saying the signature is clearly a fake either, but you have to admit the circumstance is pretty fishy.

its absolutely true. Second only to Led Zeppelin as far as the whole anti-taping thing is concerned. I cant really think of anyone else who has security specifically and actively looking to bust tapers..or at least not on the level that they do.

Firstly, the description doesn’t say Adam was trading some old LPs, it’s poorly worded but I believe he means to say they game Adam some albums in exchange for some signatures.

Secondly, while I don’t know if the description has been updated or not, but it reads to me like that certificate part was added after people questioned it’s authenticity. It seems to be a pretty reputable dealer as well.

Slightly fishy, no doubt, but there’s nothing here that really bothers me.

Also, let’s not forget we’re talking about a $20 eBay item here. For $20 it sounds like a fucking bargain to me, in fact I may make a bid.

16. What happened was this.
Tool fan with some similarities in appearance (to Adam) walked into said record store and claims to be Adam.
Record store owner is not a Tool fan so when Adam (Tool fan)introduces himself he doesn’t know the difference.
The deal is then struck.
Tool fan walks out with free stuff.
The store owner (remember not a Tool fan) puts it up on Ebay with a clear conscious.

17. Saw that one a few weeks ago. Unless your name is bryan, why would you buy?

…oh yeah, my name is Mike from now on. I forgot to mention that…
Feel free to upload these to the Signed gallery. If it’s still updated, that is.
And here’s a recent picture of my ‘ever growing collection’.

In case you need a new TA shirt
TA – XL

Cool, I’ve been trying to find one. About the time I was gonna order one they disappeared off TA. Thanks for posting that Basejumper

21. Guy said he paid $650 for the framing alone, that validates the price for sure. Where’s my wallet filled with my unnecessary amount of U.S. money went!?

22. my 09′ posters cost $175.00 to frame. and that was for 2. $650 sounds high to me.

23. That’s either bullshit, or he’s an idiot for paying that much for a basic frame/matt job. I have the same signed poster from that show, mine looks better and only paid $120 to get it proff. done..I do get a wicked deal due to the fact my friend does it for a living! $2,500??? if anyone will pay that i’d gladley sell mine for $2,450!-jk

24. $650 does sound very high. Looks like a pretty standard frame job. Let’s say the poster alone sells for $250. 250+650 is still only 900.. Don’t know how he expects to get $2500+ but oh well it’s his poster and he can do whatever the hell he wants with it.

25. i’d frame mine, sell it for 2449.00 and split the money three ways with taout and lachry and be very happy about it….maybe…although i like my poster….i think i’ll keep it…but imagine that…that’s all i’m saying

26. Heck if someone offered me even $300.00 U.S. for my autographed Scared Mirrors Hardcover by Alex Grey, I’d pay for shipping myself…no problem.

:)

27. I know this isn’t quite the right forum, but it is about something I thought about selling on ebay or elsewhere.  After thinking quite a bit about it, last week I decided to give my step-son my signed Salival for his high school graduation present rather than offering it for sale.  One look at his face as he unwrapped it Friday night told me it was the right decision.  And when I told him if he ever needed money bad enough to sell it to let me know and I would give him money – he said “You know I’m too big a fan to ever sell it!”  Brought a tear to my eye.  We took him to his first Tool show in KC back in 2006 for his 13th birthday and looking forward to at least 1 more tour.  A video of his from a few years back.
