$799, $549, and $549Â are they serious? I needed a laugh this morning!!
I dont think the prices are that outrageous.
That Lateralus vinyl is a dream…
I always check out camelcamelcamel before making Amazon purchases. Â Funny to see it mentioned on here…

That “Sieban” print has been up there for a couple weeks now…started off with an asking price of $989.99. I’ve definitely been interested in trying to get a copy, and it’s nice to see it dropping a bit, but it’s still way out of my price range…I believe they originally sold for $150.00 in TA. Justin’s “Unbridle” was even more limited, and I’ve yet to see one of his up for resale. I wonder who in Las Vegas this is? Sad to see them having to part with such cool things, but I gotta believe it’s gotta be necessary. Hope… Read more »
The alex grey print is actually cheaper on Ebay than it is on the actual Alex Grey online store. It is listed at 700.00 on his site.
I never understood why anyone would purchase an autographed item. An autograph means nothing unless I was the one who obtained it. That’s how I see it.
Kind of off topic but is anyone else getting tired of Blair pushing his book on TA? Frankly I’m tired of seeing posts about it. How about a post that gives a TA update? Noooooo, that would be too practical.

Is no one else excited for the Puscifer DVD!?! The live versions are so much better than the studio. I just hope it includes more of MJK’s music (awesome) than his comedy (pretty lame). I would even enjoy the country versions

I completely commented on the wrong post, but regardless, nobody has spoken of the live DVD on the correct post, either, so my amazement at lack of excitement stands.
I don’t get it.
I’ve got an unopened copy of Tool’s Salival and I’m going to put it up on Ebay.
Starting bid of $145 or a Buy it Now option for $175.
And…after no one bids on it or Buys it Now (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280502930449&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT), I’m gonna relist it with a starting bid of $170 and a Buy it Now option of $190 (http://cgi.ebay.com/Salival-CD-DVD-PA-Limited-CD-DVD-Tool-/280506580571?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Music_CDs&hash=item414f7ebe5b)
Really? Because…that makes absolutely no sense…unless you’re living in bizarro world…
Thank you for your time…carry on. : )
What looks to be the best deal I’ve ever seen for an original copy of Aenima on vinyl. Someone’s going to get a heck of a deal if they use the Buy it Now option:

Too bad the corners on the vinyl album packaging are pretty beat up . . . for $200.00, can you really call this item Near Mint Condition?

WOAH! That Sieban print sold for $599.99…that’s just crazy. I would have had a difficult time paying the original $150 for it…but $600?! Wow. I’m definitely surprised. Congrats to the buyer…and the seller. : )

I’ll sell you my Salival VHS tape.

Just bear in mind that the Salival vinyl is a bootleg.
Thanks, I am aware of this.
I am mostly interested in the Stinkfist-esque poster that is inside this bootleg vinyl.
Alright peoples…this just doesn’t sit right with me:
http://cgi.ebay.com/LG-TOOL-LONG-SLEEVE-T-SHIRT-LATERALUS-Maynard-Alien-/170499136444?cmd
Cam De Leon design, obviously Aenima era, but it says Lateralus down the sleeve. What do you all think?

I think that Tool probably used some Aenima Era artwork on the Lateralus tour just like the did Lateralus era stuff on the 10k Days tour.
I can’t recall any Lateralus era artwork they used on the 10K Days tour. Can you give me an example? To clarify, I’m speaking specifically of MERCH, not stage videography.

Actually it’s not a bootleg.I’ve had one since Christmas of 2002.Got it at a Spencer’s gift’s at the mall.Think I paid like 24.99 though!Too bad it’s not a XL.Mine is pretty faded and more grey now but still a kickass shirt.
Peace
Either that, or the seller of that item is confusing artwork from the Ænima era to artwork of the Lateralus era.
It (should) go w/o saying…careful what you purchase on ebay. The majority of the “vintage” shirts I find are bogus; even when they look authentic. I was close to buying this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=370398245324 to replace my completely faded/worn out one. I emailed the seller more than a month ago to get a pic of the back, as one was not provided in the listing. Hadn’t heard shit until today, when I emailed him for a 2nd time. He informed me “nothing on the back to take a picture of”. Well, “SHIRT IS OFFICIALLY LICENSED” seems to be bullshit then, huh? I… Read more »
I do not mean to derail your rant, but are you talking about the auction below as one of the five sets?
http://cgi.ebay.com/MATCHING-284-TOOL-POSTERS-NIGHTS-1-2-NOKIA-2010-/260641059268?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3caf6af1c4
If so, both Los Angeles posters are for sale for $200 and in my opinion, that is probably the most decent deal going around on eBay as of late, considering I was reported to eBay for asking a seller why they are Buy It Now auctioning an unsigned San Francisco poster for more than $300.
do the world a favor…KILL YOURFUCKINSELF!!! And not in a way that will affect others; ie shooting yourself in your fuckin head, cause some poor schmuck is gonna have to clean that shit up. At least that would keep some poor schmuck in a job and considering the way the economy is these days, that is a good thing. I’m right there with you on the fucking scalpers. I hate those douches! That’s why I believe in the poster network. I started doing this on the 10k days wrap up mini tour and have kept it going. It has definitely… Read more »
dude that vintage shirt is nice. good find. and thanks for the heads up on the nokia set for 200. pretty good deal for an ebayer
@ Kat remember…rotate! 😉
@ Contraption and Mythiah The set was originally $60…so no, not a good deal!! More than 300% mark up for jeebus tap dancin christ’s sake!!!
@ Mythiah be part of the solution, not the problem!!!! And thanks for the compliment on the tee. *pours another Guinness*
If it is any consolation, I would pay $200 for a set of two unsigned TOOL tour posters and might have to if my trade for both unsigned Red Rocks posters goes through.
pour me some of that guinness….rotate what?
@ Contra a consolation to whom? Personally, I’d find not one shred of solace in being penetrated so…and sheeeit, not even the common courtesy of a reach around for fucks sake!
@ Kat your collection on your walls. *pours Kitty some Irish goodness*
theyre 60 bucks each right? so 120 for the pair? thats an 80 dollar markup. i guess its not THAT bad. or am i wrong?
Dude (dudette?) The unsigned posters were $30 each. Signed were $120 each. The Adam doodles went anywhere from (correct me if I’m wrong Kat) $350 to $3500, depending on the doodle.
I just scored an unsigned St. Charles poster on eBay for $60!
Next up is Saskatchewan and Seattle!
k thanks for the info
oh and its dude

Depending on the stop on the tour, the unsigned posters started at $25 and went up to $30 at the later stops. how about this deal… 7 posters for $420,…. which i guess isnt too bad. comes out to $60/piece. none of them are signed so its only $30 more per poster markup.

@ tooldude that’s the same fuckin tool who has all the LA posters!!! And $420 is just what the 1st bid is at. Who knows how high it’ll get before the auction closes.
EDIT-and check out his past transactions…the last 10 were all this years posters!! WTF!?!?!!
@ Kat yeah, I think those spiffy RR’s doodles were the $3500 ones.
Then ya got cow fuckers like this guy: http://myworld.ebay.com/bovine19440/ who are buying last years posters from MERCH MERCH, and reselling them at more than double!!
I laugh every time I see those posters on ebay. I’ve noticed they are not selling, and neither are the LA posters at $200 a pop.
