I don’t expect these to be available for long, so get over there right now!

Now i just need to get rid of my 4 AWESOME seats in 101 row K directly across from the stage behind the soundboard! Let me know if you are interested
Thanks for the updates everbody! I was able to let a friend know and he now gets to go. OKC Tonight!! Still have a lower bowl ticket available.
Getting ready to start my “scenic” 7 1/2 hour drive through Missouri and Oklahoma. At least it’s not Kansas (that’s tomorrow).
Lachrymologist – No problem… I hoped that it would save a few fans from not being able to attend or getting ripped off. I’m glad to hear it worked out.

When you serve up the kind of shit we did against Germany you don’t deserve to go through…
Yeah very true, but the Cahill red card in the 1st match….wtf. Officiating has been spotty at best and I am not speaking of US disallowed goals.

Yeah, I think inconsistant more than anything, but when you have refs from all over the world officiating it’s hard to get consistancy. Personally though I thought the first two games of ours we got some harsh decisions against us, but the final game was pretty well umpired.
Cahill’s red was the worst of the lot though. I’ve lost count of the amount of similar tackles get away with a free kick or a yellow card, let alone a red one…
Oh yeah inconsistant for sure. I mean I have watched every match from the start to now actually watching England match from earlier today right now. I just wish that FIFA would/could make match officials more accountable, and I realize better than most that a lot of these calls are subjective to what is seen by 3 dudes. I just hope that this tournament isn’t remembered for its poor/inconsistant officiating. There have definately been some fantastic moments so far!

They need to handle booking offenses better. An automatic suspension for a Red Card just because it’s a red card is crap. Their penalty should be based on anaylsis of the actual offense, not on what the ref did/didn’t see on the day.
I couldn’t agree more!!!! While I am against replay in this sport I really wish the 4th official had more to do than holding up how much stoppage time remains. I have played in college and officiated high school games, so I know how out of posistion the referee can be at times. And now with every game in crytal clear HD, I am sure we see things a bit more clearly now. So it makes it obvious to the fans at home, but not the one who matters! Also it seems as though you need to be theatrical/dive in order to get a call nowadays, which doesn’t help the game at all!!!!!

I’m happy to keep video referring out of the game, but I really think if they wanted to clean up the game and some inconsistency then some post game analysis should be done. Here in the AFL the tribunal go through every game and hand out penalties for rough play and such that the umpire didn’t spot, and they reduce penalties for the ones the refs did see but perhaps weren’t as harsh on second glance. Soccer needs this imo.
I think we need our own World Cup 2010 thread! lol Yes I agree some type of replay for cautions and red cards would be great especially for some of the dumb shit players have been carded for,ie, inadvertent hand balls, questionable tackles, and other things of that nature. Dissent should not be allowed however and I am okay with all bookings given to players who think that they are bigger than the game.

i have reffed soccer as a hobby for 23 years guys, and reffs will make some questionable calls. it becomes a problem when the game is decided by bad descisions. that has definately happened in the cup. IMO, the biggest detractor is offsides. they are supposed to be giving the tie/doubt to the attacking player, and that is clearly not happening. this results in ties and low scoring games, which will not win any new fans here in football america. with all the sneaky shit that these top notcch players try to get away with, it would be difficult to reff. the reff does not have the benefit of an aerial/50 yard line view like we do watching tv, and they dont have super slow mo on HD.
