That makes me happy, too. I think it could have a very positive impact on the new material. Really glad they chose to do it this way, that Maynard was willing (with all the shit he’s juggling), and that I got to see two of these excellent gigs. Can’t wait to hear what they come up with.

yea i wish i could make it to LA but my tour ended last night. i still cant get justins jam to the vicarious intro he has been doin out of my head. so fucking beautiful/amazing.

Tell me more about how you managed to talk to Danny after the show, so I might live vicariously. 8~}
I was row 28 at red rocks. and have seen them 20 times?!? he looked bored. that's all.... doesn't mean I'm gonna sell the pristine vinyl or anything :O)
Fair enough, I disagree - I think his body language has been pretty much consistent with every show I've seen. In my opinion Adam is generally the least "enthusiastic" of them all on stage anyway.

As to there being an extreme lack of recorded output - I can't really argue with that I suppose, but why does it even matter? Except to your wallet, what difference does it make to you or the band?

I thought it was adam who wrote the tunes. if this is true, could we assume that the lack of new material is mostly adams fault? he didnt look all that enthusiastic at red rocks night 1. whereas Justin, MJK, and Danny were going off. just wonderin'...
That's probably a little harsh. No doubt as guitar player Adam has a significant input into the music created by the band, but to single out a particular member when we don't know the whole story is not quite right. Sure Adam was away doing stuff during the break, but I doubt the rest of the guys were just sitting back waiting for him. Well know how busy Maynard has been...
For what it's worth, having viewed a few bootlegs on Youtube, Adam doesn't look any more or less enthusiastic on stage than he normally does.
my comment was specially about the idea that Adam is the only enthusiastic member.
i know critiquing the band brings the die-hard supporters out... but I don't think its a harsh statement. there is an extreme lack of recorded output from this band.

I love this part. So true...

"Right! That's why I think it's so important that children take art and music classes early on because it really develops a three-dimensional manner of thinking. When they get to algebra, it starts taking form instead of just going, "Okay, I'll study this, but I don't get it." Then you instantly forget it. You have to have that three-dimensional thinking. There's something harmonic to how we learn, what we take in, what we have to know, what we're passionate about and all of that stuff. I guess it's along that same concept of when I meet people that don't collect anything and I go, "That's really weird. You don't collect anything?" Then I'm like, "What movies do you like?" Their answer is, "I really don't like movies." Is that a result of someone who didn't take enough art classes or someone who didn't have enough exposure to art? I don't know."
