met justin and jello after the SF show. danny and rynne after sactown. i have met them all minus maynard a handfull of times. always great to chat and make convo. danny said his favorite place to play is australia. we asked him when they are playin the pyramids in egypt, he laughed. big joke betweeen me and my 2 friends that they will play there in dec 2012….. just hang out after the shows, usually they are more then willing to chat and sign stuff.

That makes me happy, too. I think it could have a very positive impact on the new material. Really glad they chose to do it this way, that Maynard was willing (with all the shit he’s juggling), and that I got to see two of these excellent gigs. Can’t wait to hear what they come up with.

yea i wish i could make it to LA but my tour ended last night. i still cant get justins jam to the vicarious intro he has been doin out of my head. so fucking beautiful/amazing.

Tell me more about how you managed to talk to Danny after the show, so I might live vicariously. 8~}

out of the 25 shows ive seen adam has never rocked out persay or showed much enthusiasm. cracked a smile a few times and laughed but that is it. justin on the other hand is awesome, he is lovin life.

Fair enough, I disagree - I think his body language has been pretty much consistent with every show I've seen. In my opinion Adam is generally the least "enthusiastic" of them all on stage anyway.

As to there being an extreme lack of recorded output - I can't really argue with that I suppose, but why does it even matter? Except to your wallet, what difference does it make to you or the band?

That’s probably a little harsh. No doubt as guitar player Adam has a significant input into the music created by the band, but to single out a particular member when we don’t know the whole story is not quite right. Sure Adam was away doing stuff during the break, but I doubt the rest of the guys were just sitting back waiting for him. Well know how busy Maynard has been…

my comment was specially about the idea that Adam is the only enthusiastic member.
i know critiquing the band brings the die-hard supporters out… but I don’t think its a harsh statement.        there is an extreme lack of recorded output from this band.
