contraption - 16 hours ago » rgardjr was fortunate enough to be able to buy those posters when they did, because most that are displayed can't be found anywhere or cost an arm and a leg.

You are absolutely right about timing being right. When you roll back the clock to when I first started collecting posters there may have been 2 or 3 posters per tour and maybe 5 or 6 as the years progressed. Back then you could contact the artists directly and they always had posters available, even Emek, which made them more affordable than trying to purchase through Ebay. I'm very happy that Adam has gotten into producing posters for every show and that the posters are actually sold at the shows. I've got a few more Tool posters that will be getting framed up this winter and I will post pics when they're available.

I just want to bump this thread because I'm in awe of rgardjr's collection (page 2). I'm starting a collection of my own: TOOL/A Perfct Circle posters and goods that I acquire at the shows I go to.
rgardjr was fortunate enough to be able to buy those posters when they did, because most that are displayed can't be found anywhere or cost an arm and a leg.

hey rgardjr where did you get the poster with the photos from the revolver book of TOOL? You know the one with mjk and the umbrella, and adam with the goat, gotta have that one, been looking everywhere

I believe the poster(s) you're referring to are from Travis Shinn's "Finger in Fame" show: http://www.drkrm.com/shinn.html

And I think you can still order them through the gallery here: http://www.drkrm.com/toolposter.html
