A Perfect Circle have claimed a whole load of social networking pages recently, so it would appear that at least something is happening there. No word on what it will be at this stage, but my guess would be a couple of live shows.

This is highly unlikely but the post title gave me an idea and it’s worth putting it out there. David Fincher is known to be a fan of APC (he directed the Judith video) and Trent Reznor is doing the soundtrack to Fincher’s upcoming Facebook film…if there’s no bad blood over Tapeworm then perhaps some APC will feature on the soundtrack? Reznor had Billy Corgan on the Lost Highway album despite saying he wasnt a fan so it’s not impossible….wishful thinking though.

I hope they play a few shows this fall. This summer tour was a surprise and wouldn’t doubt they hit the road for a bit before he goes back to working with TOOL. That guy never rests and hats off to him for doing what he wants.

can we really expect an APC tour (even if it is only few shows) before the end of the year? I really hope it will happen for all of the US fans, but shit, would have to be a miricle. Maynard has said that APC have new music written, so they’re definitely going to release at least an EP with like 3-4 new tracks.
If you look on their twitter page there seems to be some new artwork although it could just be stuff from 13th Step, I didn’t really follow the band back then.

It appears that hard rock supergroup A Perfect Circle will be reuniting soon. Earlier this week, the band’s recently activated Twitter account began posting cryptic messages that tagged members of A Perfect Circle.
In the meantime, founding guitarist Billy Howerdel tweeted, “The APC dust is shaking off!” and drummer Josh Freese wrote on Facebook, “I’m happy to report that A Perfect Circle is waking up from its six-year slumber… and we’re going to be ‘doing stuff’ soon.”
But there’s been no official announcement and nothing said by frontman Maynard James Keenan, who’s recently been on tour with Tool and promoting another one of his bands, Puscifer.
However, Keenan showed up unexpectedly at a concert by Howerdel’s Ashes Divide at the Viper Room in Los Angeles in June. The singer also hinted to The Pulse of Radio last year that A Perfect Circle might be making music in 2010.
The group’s last album, titled Emotive, was released in 2004.
