A couple of Fourtheye readers today pointed me to a new Youtube video of more Tool footage from the Undertow recording sessions. Features some more footage with Henry Rollins, as well as a stack of drum tracking and general playing around.

Yes it is! Along with Adam creating the Undertow cover sculpture, Danny recording and other studio craziness.
Saw Henry Rollands on stage last night at the fringe fest in Edinburgh, very funny guy, and he had some great stories from back in the day too…
It’s great to see these guys working together, first real behind the scenes stuff from tool I have seen.
I would love for them to hook back up with Sylvia Massey. That was raw TOOL at it’s best.
I disagree. Sylvia was a chapter in their lives that they have long since moved on and shed that skin. The band has evolved leaps and bounds since Opiate/Undertow days. Don’t get me wrong…I love throwing in those cd’s and appreciating that raw garage band sound, but I also enjoy the refinement they have found musically over the last decade. I’m ready for the next chapter in the ever evolving entity that is TooL.

@ Magnus – You will have to register to download the torrent file from TTD. That’s just the way it works, and the way they track your ratio. It’s fairly painless – I don’t think you need an invite like with other sites – give it a shot.
Without some kind of policing, hit and run (just grabbing shit, and not seeding) would be a lot more common and all the amazing torrented files out there would just dry up… It’s a pretty good system actually.
