I wish there would have possibly been an update on the site, but it was down when I joined so I guess I will just have to wait. 10,000 Days on vinyl will be sweet. I’ve been told in the past by sources close to the band that 10k Days vinyl will be happening at some point – nice to get some kind of confirmation.
Can you tell us what kind of accomadations you have recieved from Blair at the upcoming gigs?

If you do get the interview and they end up being rude in any type of way. You need to conclude the interview by getting them to autograph the setlist shirt from 2009 or the Fuck Blair shirt. I am sure they would get a kick out of that.

That is pretty much the reason I’m not holding my breath, however I have been told I’ll be considered, and haven’t been given any indication that I’m not “qualified”. I think the fact that there’s not much media to speak of here in Adelaide probably works in my advantage.

On the last tour I emailed Blair about some stuff and jokingly offered my apartment as accommodation for the band if they needed etc. and he responded with “I’ll let the guys know” via email. What Hammer said. Even though I personally enjoyed the album immensely and still do, we’d probably all be better off if we let people have their opinions. It’s been 4 years. Good or bad, the album has left the mark it is going to leave.

Definitely curious to know how they’ll translate the ‘10,000 Days’ packaging to vinyl. I’d love to see some larger stereoscopic images, but my guess is it’ll be something completely different, similar to how they handled ‘Lateralus.’

If it was a tool fan’s setlist, it would probably contain tracks like hooker, jerk-off and possibly ticks and leeches – in other words, the songs they never play live. not trying to get into a ‘what’s your favourite tool song’ tangent.
