Hoping for a tease of some other older songs but it looks like it will be a fairly standard setlist. No complaints though, it will be great!

It has finally hit me that Tool is actually coming.
My buddy bought some video camera glasses he is going to use to record the show, they don’t record audio but we will sync up with an aud source when it surfaces.
You will not be disappointed with the same setlist they did for summer 10. Seeing the opening of Third Eye was beyond describable. Seeing it on youtube nowhere compares to seeing it live. So you are all in for a treat no matter what.

It’s worth noting that Maynard’s camera flashes past Adam’s guitar stand during the second clip showing his natural finish (pretty sure) Les Paul which he used to play The Pot in the altered key this past summer in the states. Since he has the guitar there during rehearsal, perhaps they are planning to bring out The Pot as well.

I never thought i would say this considering I have seen this song live twice but after hearing the tuned down version I would be happy with the pot as a ‘treat’ spng. Come to think of it I would be thrilled to hear them to do the same setlist from L.A. 2010. Cant f-ing wait!!

Setlist includes, Sober, You Lied, Intension, Right In Two in addition others speculated and played in the states. (The Pot, EBA/The Patient, Third Eye).
You guys could be extremely effing lucky. I hope someone gets some quality bootlegs. I’d love to hear a 2011 version of You Lied. Holy crap.

Don’t read too much into those 2 pieces of paper.
I would consider that to be a “list of possible songs” more than a “setlist”. The order and contents of those sheets has changed every day, and has changed at least twice since that video was made.
I would take it with a grain of salt. Remember, it’s Maynard. My best guess is that they’re running through the list on the left, and they may or may not pull from it. I just wish I was able to hit any of these shows to see for myself. You lucky SOBs.

my guess is two set lists for festivals and one off shows. *shrugs* that would suck though for those at the festivals.

As Jr pointed out, not too much point reading too much into those setlists. Having said that, I expect the setlists will be made up of a selection of those songs, which to me says the setlist will be much the same as the last North American tour.
And I agree, I can’t see Tool playing Third Eye as anything but a set opener.
Personally, having never seen Third Eye, Right In Two and Flood, I’m hoping to see a couple of those at the two Tool shows I’ll be attending.
I was watching my Coachella dvd last night in anticipation for the show and while listening to ‘you lied’ I thought how great it would be to see again.
I’m not sure he could hit that long note at the end like he did in 1998 but I’m sure he could pull off something pretty close to it.
