A Perfect Circle VIP Details announced

A Perfect Circle announced details of the VIP tickets via Facebook a little while ago.  I know you’re all dying to know them so without further ado:

  • Package #1 (Sound Check Pass, $175): one premium location ticket, early entrance to venue, access to APC sound check, ltd edition signed APC 2011 tour lithograph and exclusive APC 2011 tour sound check pass. 4 ticket limit per person.
  • Package #2 (Wine Tasting & Sound Check Pass, $200): pre-show wine tasting, one premium location ticket, early entrance to venue, access to APC sound check, ltd edition signed APC 2011 tour lithograph and exclusive APC 2011 tour sound check pass. 4 ticket limit per person.

So there you go, personally I think the $175 ticket sounds like pretty good value.  $25 extra for some wine tasting sounds a little much to me though.

All VIP tickets go on sale via the A Perfect Circle site on Friday (no time confirmed yet), with links to the sales appearing on Thursday evening.

Do the vip passed include a pre-show viewing of Maynard sprinting through the entrance and right out the exit with a look of mock disgust on his face?

No, he’s not bothering to attend sound check. He’ll have a roadie test his mic for him.

I’m going to do my best to make it to the Los Angeles show with a V.I.P. ticket. Maybe I’ll even get a chance to meet some of you fine gentlemen and gentlewomen.

Sooo no meet & greet?

I’ve yet to attend a Meet and Greet however I was actually looking forward snagging a VIP ticket this time around. I wasn’t exactly looking forward to meeting MJK knowing his behavior at previous M&G’s however I was looking forward to the rest of the band. Seeing how the show was in my home town I figured I could spare the extra bucks and go for it but now my only fear is the “sound check” will consist of one or two minutes of a single song before we’re booted out.

Tickets will be like $75…signed posters $100…a VIP ticket for 175? Sounds like a deal to me.

So looks like I’ll be buying the VIP package for Grand Prairie….Magnus…maybe I’ll see ya there.

^ Hey Magnus, I would go for it, if you get the chance. At first I felt like it was a colossal waste of money, and the only reason I snagged a M&G for Mer De Noms in SF last year was because GA was gone, and that was my only choice if I wanted to go. We didn’t even get to see sound check, but since it was GA, getting the wrist band got me to the center rail, and that made it worth it alone. It was also cool to meet and speak briefly with the band, especially… Read more »

Isn’t sound check usually around 4-4:30 PM for an 8 PM show?
That’s a long time between a 15-20 min (max) sound check and the start of the show.
Opening act?

Pretty good deal if your planning on shelling out 72 for a ticket and another 100 on a poster!

so if you want a VIP ticket you have to be on Aperfectcircle.com and see if they show up while the best tickets are being taken on ticketmaster. Risky proposition, i really hope there’s VIP tix for boston
EDIT – nm, I guess regular tix are 10am EST for regular and 10am Pacific (1pm EST) for VIP?

Regular tickets go on sale at 10AM local time. VIP tickets go on sale at 10AM EST (9AM CST; 7 AM PCT)

Sucks for East coasters as they’ll have to try both simultaneously.

So I purchased VIP tickets (with wine tasting) for the Beacon Theater – and I was not given seat info. Anyone know what the seating situation will be? Will VIPs be set up on stage? (I saw the Allman Bros like this last month at the Beacon with All Access) Or are there just a couple of rows reserved for VIPs?

I got VIP tix for the first Texas show (Gran Prairie). The VIP ticket vendor said seats were yet to be reserved, but there would be actual seats. Out of curiosity, I called the venue(Verizon Theater) and was told it was standing room only in the pit. I have a bad back injury, and expected a physical seat. While the sound check is going to be great, I would expect that a $200 ticket got me something more than a $50 pit ticket.

^ Granted that the venues APC played last year were much smaller, so not sure this applies, but: The Meet & Greet and Wine Tasting ticket holders all together were less than 50 people. We were all in the venue way before showtime, obviously, but then booted out again to wait until they let everyone else in. We didn’t get to stay inside. They gave us wristbands and stuck us in front of all the people who had been waiting for many hours. I believe that for most of these venues that have a pit area and seats farther back,… Read more »

I got 2 VIPs to the FOX Detroit I am assuming that they will be in the “orchestra pit” section right in front of the stage. Hoping they will be seats as my girlfriend is 5′. Anyone ever attend another concert there, from the pics I have seen on google it looks like they have seats down there. Any info would be appreciated.
