Unrelated to this thread so sorry, but after watching this video YouTube recommended to me some Danny Carey drumming videos. Those videos got me to this person who has a YouTube channel chock full of DC drumming. YT channel name is MsTimPaul Probably old news since all the videos were uploaded last year, but still a great find for people who want to see DC drum up-close, in a concert setting, with pretty decent audio/video which is synced very well. Some enterprising individual could probably edit all of these videos together and have a full concert with focus on DC… Read more »

Just FYI, all those videos are ripped from http://dannycarey.org. Which is good, because it’s much easier to watch them on Youtube than fight with the shitty flash on Danny’s site…
Yeah I remembered watching all of them on his site, but lack of export ease made me a sad panda.
Now things are good. Recommendation on freeware to stitch these together?

I love the Maynard from then and now. But these days he would have probably just hit the guy and walked off the stage and then not come back on for a while. But maybe he has every right to, and past Maynard was just being a trooper and tolerating it. Anyways happpy birthhhhday.

what a really funny coincidence…. this morning on the way to class i was singing Pushit the whole way (no music at all) and I didnt know why it was just in my head… i didnt even know it was Maynard’s birthday… lmao. guess we are emotionally linked through years of listening to his stuff 🙂

I was actually at this gig – Sunday 23 Feb. 1997, London, UK – Astoria – my third TOOL show – amazing! Band played Third Eye, Stinkfist, Forty Six & 2, H., Undertow, Pushit, Crawl Away, Sober, Eulogy, Opiate, Ænema. Good times. Peace to you all…
