Ahhh the drumming is good….

I’m not sure what they were trying to achieve with this song? It seems to pick up half way through but doesn’t go anywhere, and then lingers for too long.

Not for me, a little dissapointed when you consider who is involved.

I’ve listened one and a half times now, with the second listening being rudely interrupted by a pety task life always it can weight upon the shoulders at anygiven time. Anywho…

So far I like it. Searched for lyrics but do not see them posted anywhere.

I will comment more after a few more listenses.

I find it pretty boring, to be honest. It doesn’t suck, but it’s like eating a balogna sandwich when you feel like eating steak. I don’t know what comparison to make.

I liked it. Although, it will probably sound better on a sound system which is not my lap top. It seems like it will be an album that needs a few listenings in order to fully digest. I like that aspect of it, and I’m glad it doesn’t sound like tool. I think it would be lame, and kind of sad, if D’Amour was in a band trying to make up for regrets he may have had by trying to replicate, no pun intended, a band he used to be in. It has a cool originality to it. As for… Read more »

I wanted to give this a few listens before commenting. On first listen, it just went right through me and I nearly dismissed it.
After a number of repeated spins, I am digging this. It has a slow burn as others pointed out, but I like the approach. There are a lot of nuanced, underlying aspects that benefit from repeat listening. I’m not a huge fan of Paul’s vocals, but they are growing on me. The drumming is superb as to be expected.
Also… I am curious to see when Blair finally mentions this on TA/TB…

Digging the Ennjin. Paul has never gotten the respect he deserves.

About the album, this title is in fact the only new one, the others being “updates” (better sound, a few changes) of songs that have been available to listen since many years.

Among them, there are also “Magus”, “The Raft” and “Hate the Sun”, which were first composed for Lusk.
