As the Tool 2012 Winter Tour slowly approaches there are a few more details I haven’t blogged about yet (though have included on the Tour Page).
Firstly it appears that the TBA date for the 21st of January will be a second show at the Verizon Arena in Dallas, TX. For those of you willing to brave the waiting room system once more, tickets go on sale on the 22nd of December at 10am. Thanks to everyone who bugged me with an email about this!
For the other remaining dates still to go on sale, the show in Orlando, FL goes on sale on Saturday the 7th of January at 10am via Ticketmaster. No word yet on the other shows still to go on sale (they don’t appear on Ticketmaster).
Support for this tour will be coming from Intronaut for the first half and Yob for the second. Yob confirmed via Twitter that they’d be playing the following dates:

Impatiently waiting the Feb 3rd date…..if it is close to Philly I am going to try for three shows.
The Piratebay has the last two YOB albums for download, and both downloaded in under 10 minutes. Puttin both albums on my iPod right now and about to listen.
The instrumentals are pretty good from what i’ve heard so far. But the vocals sound like a mix of Ozzy and Axel rose after a lot of mescaline.
Good luck to anyone who is going to get tickets for the second Dallaa show. I will not go to the second show, I’ll let someone else hopefully get the opportunity to get tickets.
I plan on going to the second Dallas show, that is if AXS doesn’t f*ck me like so many others. If anyone manages to get extra tickets, wanna help a brotha out?

I was there too, and I would be happy to see them play there again. I’d say the odds of playing the Patriot Center again are better than the Verizon Center…seems as though most of the dates on this tour at mid-sized arenas or venues…

Ya I dont care much for yob. at least yob’s instrumentals are good. I do have a serious request for all audio/video recorders out there..
Obviously please record all Tool performances possible and upload them to dime.. This is necessary. And..
PLEASE do the same for intronaut. This band sounds too good on their last two albums. I must hear them live to know if they’re a studio only band or if they can actually play live.

HAMPTON AND CHARLOTTE SHOWS
I don’t have the exact date yet, but it looks like tickets for the FEBRUARY 3rd HAMPTON, VA show, and the FEBRUARY 4th CHARLOTTE, NC show both go on sale the first weekend in January. When I get more specifics, I will post.
