It’s hard to get answers these days about any kind of Tool related release, with The Pot videos, Volto! albums and M.T.void albums all on the horizon, it can be frustrating to hear about all these projects and then never know when they will see the light of day.
Luckily for us though we have an answer for one of these, with M.T.void today posting on Facebook an update on their album:

Great news that this is finally happening, perhaps not so good if you subscribe to the rumour that Tool will be recording in January.
That’s a funky 6 string bass JC’s got there. Love the kid’s license plate.
And he’s a slob, but I wouldn’t tell him to his face. He might get angry, and I wouldn’t like him when he’s angry…

Justin is a Chelsea fan?
Well, that’s just plain disappointing.
I’m not sure a Void album “release” would necessarily get in the way of Tool recording time. Justin may be finished writing (or nearly so) for the new Tool record, so he may have some time to work on releasing the Void material by early January – which would allow for a late Jan or early Feb Tool studio time. Seems to fit quite well with the rumor, actually.
I don’t think we need to worry, we’ve worried before and years later they still haven’t entered the studio.
Just release the damn thing already. They’ve been teasing us for almost 3 years now.
The best of Poland and the UK come together. Should be interesting…
