Looks better than a poster…. but $250 is too much money for a Tool signed cool pic….. plus shipping maybe? As you said Señor Hellboy “-purchase for those with deep pockets-“. Lol…… in the other hand, can’t wait to see the new art for the new album!

I’ve noticed lots of stuff coming up for sale. Would it be dumb to assume they would use these funds to help with recording costs possibly…?

I believe they are still under contract for 1 last album. Doesn’t the label usually pick up the costs for recording/mastering/pressing/distribution, etc).

haha. recording costs ? sorry to laugh but between the four of them i dont think they are scraping change together to pay for an album. i figured it out the one time. just for unsigned posters at 30 bucks a pop they are making thousands of dollars on that alone. i forget what the numbers were but lets just say they are making more then most of us probably have on posters alone.

It is weird that they have two online stores. One is Toolarmy exclusive (Shopping Bazaar), but the other one for the public is shop.toolarmy.com. I missed this poster, but as of this writing, there is a $50 Tool gig poster in the public store that says is signed by Danny Carey.

Edit: Looks like the ToolArmy exclusive custom poster is now in the public shop under “collectibles”.

edit, i see,,its another sale price so i guess they want 65 normally for older crap posters signed by one member. their was a newer better poster signed by all members that went for 250 i think it was ? it went super fast but it was on their apparently..this was back in last Sept. im pretty sure it was fully signed.

From Toolband.com and a facebook posting…

OUR THOUGHTS FOR CHRIS LEAHEY

Currently, our thoughts are with Adam’s long time guitar tech and good friend Chris Leahey. “Frank”, as everyone on tour called him, is at this moment in the hospital and could certainly use all the positive energy we can send his way.

I think everyone in the extended family would appreciate any positive energy that can be sent his way.
