What makes you think there’s gonna be more? I’m hoping for a Chicago show but I fear this is all of them.
I very much doubt this is all of the shows, there are a few gaps that could be filled and I suspect there will be at least one other CA show.
As for Chicago – I have no idea if they will make it up there.
Thanks! Seems like they’ve been passing Chicago lately. So badly wanna see them again.
Thanks HB, you expect the rest to be announced by Friday? Would hate to plan for one and then get a Midewst show. (Also hoping for Chicago, or Madison/Mikwaukee/Minneapolis but not holding my breath)
Not sure, but I have asked Blair.
Unless Tool plan to post up in Charlotte, NC, I reckon they will make their return trip through some of the upper states.
Still, as I’m also in the Midwest, I might just have to grab a Tulsa ticket.
It was also mentioned on instagram by the other support act 3teeth…this was the first half of the tour dates….
I as well am hoping for Chicago, been so long for a big city. Or anything decently close. Fear they are holding out for new album tour, but come on… Would love Milwaukee or something closer. Nashville is far and will do it since I have that week off work, but getting a little distant for no new album. Hopefully we can find out other dates before sales on Friday! Thanks for asking Blair Hellboy. Hopefully The Grudge sticks around set lists!
Didn’t Adam say something about not touring until there’s new music? It would be cool if the Opiate release will include more music but I’m not holding my breath. In any case, I hope they make it to Toronto.
They’ve said that a bunch of times, but I guess the lure of playing live, not to mention the money is too strong. I’m sure they’ll get the album done eventually, but given the massive delay so far what’s another couple of months?
I still think the “opiate video” is a smoke screen to keep the album from leaking because we are only doing a physical release. No. Fucking.digital.
It’s an interesting idea. Maybe so. For some reason I think they they have more done than what they are saying. I get the sense something big is happening that they are not mentioning. Or maybe their just telling us the truth and they have very little. Would be cool if they had a music video, live DVD, and new CD ready… I’m not be realistic though.
Thinking about going to Charlotte but on ticketmaster it says all tickets are general admission, no assigned seats. Only people with tickets marked “floor” have access to floor. Has anyone ever heard anything like this for a concert in a 15,000 seat arena? How will that even work? What will that line look like? Is there an usher with a clicker counting off how many people in a section and moving people to the next one? Is it every man for himself? Wandering through thousands of people looking for empty seats?
I’d be pretty surprised if the seated area was general admission. I’d guess that’s probably a mistake that will be rectified by Friday.
Well, I can’t login to post in the forum. Methinks Tool sites are cursed and then they curse Ticketmaster when they sell their fuckin tickets. I couldn’t get ticket to SD like many of you but, my cousin finally got tickets in section B using the mobile ap…
Charlotte show did end up being gen admission for the whole venue. This seems insane and it lessens the blow of not being able to get tickets after trying on multiple computers and phones from 10 to 12. Who wants to be in that kind of cluster fuck? I’m gonna spend that $100 on enough booze to drown in. At least I got to see them at the mash.
My patience with all things Tool is growing thin…
Welcome to the fold.
