In news just at hand, Gun’s n’ Roses legend Axl Rose is reportedly filling in for Maynard on a special Tool tour to Europe later in 2016. Adam Jones says:
“We connected with Axl recently at a party in Malibu, and got talking about Chinese Democracy and some of the problem he went through during it’s protracted writing/recording process. We had plenty in common, and it became apparent that we should try something different on our next tour. Maynard is busy with his wine harvest, so it seemed like a no brainer.”
Word is that the tour will celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Ænima and will feature the album played in full. A special tour blanket designed by Adi Granov will also be available for $300.

I found myself pondering what Axl would sound like on sober. or ticks and leeches.
It seems not a thing can escape criticism from some people in regards to Tool. Even a harmless April fools joke finds itself under the microscope.
