Anyone ever determine if these VIP events still include the soundcheck jam?

Seems Tool likes to visit Boise every 9-10 years. Unfortunately I live here or would gladly do the same.

How many more shows do you think will be added here? I’m hoping they add a couple more California shows as I’m thinking of heading over…

Wasn’t there some mention about a show at the Honda Center in Anaheim? Hope so.

Danny is playing with Volto on June 25th in Hermosa Beach, CA (2 days after the Sacramento show). I am keeping my fingers crossed for Anaheim.

a World Tour would be nice…

Last time I saw them in Germany was 2007. It’s really annoying seeing them having here a tour – there a tour in the US.

TOOL, it’s time for you to move your axx again!

I don’t think they’ll tour Europe again without a new album, which would be a reason enough for Maynard to drop a harvest/wine-making season to be able to actually do an extensive world tour.

There won’t be any more TOOL “world” tours. Maynard said so a few years ago. His body can’t take the travel anymore. Touring after the new album comes out will be these 1-2 month spurts of shows like they’re doing now, followed by a break and continuing to work around APC, Puscifer and grape harvests. They will make it back to Europe and Australia/NZ, but they will be shorter jaunts and not covering near as much of Europe as when they were touring on 10K Days. This is life in the twilight of an awesome band’s existence.

You’re probably right. Honestly, I think they could do another spurt for European dates, maybe a few in SA, and then just call it a day and none of us have to worry about this pretend new album ever dropping (it won’t).

Sacramento has a new arena, so I’ll be checking them out in June. Glad I waited and didn’t buy tickets for back east.

I clicked search tickets on Ticketmaster at 10AM today for the Sacramento show… at 10 and by 10:07 it was still searching. At 10:15 it found tickets all the way at the top back section for $68.95.

Did this on two computers by the way.

If you go to the Golden 1 center site the tickets are already being re-listed and first row of floor 2 is listing for $1400 each ticket.

Un-Fucking Believable.

It took me 45 minutes to get through and get 2 tickets in the nosebleed seats. Oh well, at least I got some.

Picture with the date 6/24
Hmmmmm.
It looks like a baseball field but not quite. Maybe allusions towards curveball?

It’s San Manuel Amphitheater in St. Bernadino, CA. I think it’s just another tour date being announced.
