Joshua Davis Update

According to sambarugh on Toolnavy the latest issue of Wired has an article about Joshua Davis and some artwork he did for Adam. Edit: I also managed to get this pic of Toolband from a video floating around with some website details. Thanks to gl0tch for the link to the vid. Edit 2: Moon on Toolnavy has made this website with plenty of Tool related pics from the JD video. … Read More »Joshua Davis Update

Dutch Listening Parties

Rvyers on Toolnavy translated a recent Dutch reporters blog on the recent Tool listening party. No info on the sound of the album due to embargos, but a couple of details regarding the release. Apparently no reviews of the album are to be published before April the 13th, which would suggest Tool would officially confirm the details around this time. It also mentions that no promo CD’s will be available… Read More »Dutch Listening Parties

More dodgy tracklists, Tool in Oz

Lucid Design on Toolnavy reckons that this is the tracklist for the new CD.  The new album will be self-titled he says: – T O O L – [s/t] 01. Symmetrical 02. Inertia 03. Luminesce Kaon 04. Vanity 05. Antediluvian 06. Nevus 07. Paramnesia 08. Hyparxis 09. Mal de Mer 10. Dynasty 11. Idiosyncratic The Bullshit Detector is ringing pretty loud at the moment I think that it’s pretty unlikely… Read More »More dodgy tracklists, Tool in Oz

Maynard on TV

Robert pointed to this article on Blabbermouth that says Maynard will be appearing in a new documentary “All We Are Saying”, premiering on Showtime on Wednesday March 8.  Presumably some American channel called Showtime and not the movie channel on Australias Foxtel.

FantômasMelvins Big Band Tour

Not really Tool news this time, but I know there’s plenty of Tool fans who like The Melvins and Fantômas.  Not satisfied with having Tool playing a whole shitload of shows, those Europeans will also be able to witness the FantômasMelvins Big Band.  In case you don’t know, it’s Fantômas and The Melvins rolled into one big happy family.  I’m sure it’ll be a great show, so if you’re living… Read More »FantômasMelvins Big Band Tour

Release Date Confirmed?

Madklikor from Toolnavy, as well as Fourtheyer Shinji have confirmed that Sony/BMG in France have confirmed the release date of the new Tool album will be the 2nd of May, 2006.  No confirmation of this from Blair or the members of Tool yet, but it looks to me like this might be it.

Super Rock Portugal?

According to a recent modification on Wikipedia, Tool are schedueled to play on the Super Rock Festival in Lisbon, Portugal in late May.  I can’t seem to find anything confirming this so think of it what you will……

Toolnavy Needs You

  • Uncategorized

Just a quick plug for my mates over at Toolnavy.com.  They seem to be in need of a server upgrade, and are asking for some donations. They do a pretty good job over there, and seeing as they’re fellow Tool fans I decided to make a donation.  Don’t forget that while websites like Toolnavy and Fourtheye are free to visit, there are costs associated with hosting the website (in my… Read More »Toolnavy Needs You

Total Rock Review Removed

The review of the new album on Total Rock seems to have been removed at request of the bands management. At least we now have a good idea that it’s legit. There’s plenty of copies of the review hovering around the net (including Toolarmy) for those with search abilities. I didn’t see nothin’ if you didn’t see nothin’.
