Rolling Stone’s Top 25 Videos of 2007

The video for Tool’s Vicarious has appeared in the Rolling Stone Top 25 videos for 2007.  Other videos that I like that made the list include Bjork, Battles, Kanye West, Nine Inch Nails and The White Stripes.

December Newsletter

Blair‘s December newsletter is up, and it’s quite possibly the most cryptic one yet. I can’t really make much sense of it, though it does suggest that something may be going on sale on the 17th of January, possibly a live DVD, though I’d say that’s somewhat unlikely. Could also be that there’s another tour happening, going on sale on that date, but I’ve heard no substantial rumours to confirm… Read More »December Newsletter

Coming Soon: Fourtheye Survey

I’ve been working on a Fourtheye survey recently, one that will ask many questions regarding Tool, Tool-related acts, Fourtheye as well as readers tastes and habits.  I plan on this being a yearly survey, but as I work on the first one I wonder if any of you have any particular questions you’d like to see asked in it?

This weeks poll asks you what you think of the Vicarious video.  Is it better than Tool’s previous efforts?  Has it become your favorite video  or is it no better then their old ones?  Do you like the CGI, or would you rather animation?  Vote and comment now!

Poll Results: Game of the Year

  • Uncategorized

Game of the Year was the subject of the last poll, and by the looks of things I didn’t really leave anything significant off the list.  The results show that it was a pretty good year for games, since the top results are all within a few votes of each other, suggesting finding a favorite was pretty hard.  It was for me.  In fact, 2007 was probably the best year… Read More »Poll Results: Game of the Year

Holiday in Cambodia

Scarlettletterman from Toolarmy posted a Xmas present this morning – a bootleg of Jello Biafra and Tool performing Holiday in Cambodia.  Enjoy!

3D Goggles Order

It seems as though there’s some of you interested in getting some 3D Goggles from Colour Code. You can’t buy them individually from the Colour Code 3D website, but you can get packs of 4, 8 or 12, and then bigger packs of 50, 100 and 200. I doubt there’s enough interest for one of the bigger packs, but I’d be happy to order one of the smaller ones, and… Read More »3D Goggles Order

Vicarious Video in 3D

Many of us have speculated that the Vicarious video is in 3D, and Peter sent me a lengthy message explaining that it is, and how it works: First and foremost: Stereoscopic and real dynamic 3D is NOT the same. Do NOT view the Vicarious video with your 10,000 Days glasses!!! Now it’s time to do a little research on 3D, Anaglyph, Stereoscopic. I highly suggest that everyone take a look… Read More »Vicarious Video in 3D

Vent

A response to an email received today: >The new design on your site really sucks.  You can not read a thing. Thanks, maybe one day I’ll make it more readable for you.  Personally I don’t have a problem with it. >This is also not a TOOL page.  If there is no news to report on TOOL you should not post any thing. You’re right, it’s not a Tool page, it’s… Read More »Vent
