Danny spoke to The Rock Radio recently on preparations for the upcoming tour:
“Live-wise, yeah, it always takes a week or two before you really start having that feeling in a band when you’re breathing together, you know, and the songs really start taking on a life of their own. But we rehearse enough, you know, before we head out that it reaches a bare minimum where we think it’s gonna get the job done, even before we reach our ideal of perfection, I guess you’d say.”
Tool’s mini US tour starts at Coachella on the 30th of April. Tickets for the rest of the US shows apparently go on sale this Saturday.
I agree, the mini tour will be one thing.
when they come back around for the stadium tour, it will be bigger and better I’m sure.
Just like Lateralus 2001 v 2002/03
Don’t forget the Tool interview on PBS this afternoon! http://www.pbsfm.org.au/Documents.asp?ID=2520&Title=TOOL+interview+on+The+Drive%2DThru
They don’t play stadiums, they play arenas. Big difference there.
