In speaking with the band’s management a couple of days ago, unfortunately, it appears that there WON’T be any ToolArmy pre-sales offered for this brief tour (which is practically being put together on the fly). However, this DOESN’T mean that there won’t be any (TA) pre-sales (and a better system for implementing them) for any future Tool tours. I should add, though, at the same Toolband meeting, there was much talk about several good things to come over the holiday season, the specifics of which I’m currently not at liberty to discuss… except to mention that these are exciting things for Tool enthusiasts.
Bad news for those holding out on Pre-Sales, but good news for everyone else it seems. Fingers crossed that these “good things” come to fruition.
Good to also hear talk of future Tool tours. Hopefully that means that an Aussie tour isn’t far away.
Anyone want to speculate on what they are? Toolarmy enhancements? New stuff in the Bazaar? Live DVDs? New videos?
I’m willing to bet it will be a dual release of the Vicarious/The Pot videos. They’ve been talking for a while about working on/finishing it and since it seems the live DVD has been snubbed, that’s gotta be it.
judging by what we usually get, it’ll probably be something lame like a new tool logo at the toolband site intro page. *yawn*

we may get one or two official live videos eventually, but i doubt we will see a full live DVD released until they call it a day

I won’t even lay down any hopes of the Vicarious/The Pot videos. I’ll agree with fraz… new logo. Maybe a t-shirt with the new logo on it. That’s about the extent of it.
it will be things to buy at the bazaar you lunatics. As if they would talk about the website without coming up with random products to sell to the massses!
Since it says it’s exciting for TOOL ENTHUSIASTS, it probably won’t be any sort of DVD release. It’ll probably something like more “crew” shirts like the one in the store or possibly some type of book with artwork in it… Who knows.
