The cost of the DVD seems to be outrageously expensive on that website (NZ$29.95 excluding postage), so I would recommend shopping around before ordering there…

Since it’s rumoured to be “hidden”, I doubt (if it exists) it would appear on the track listing.

We’ve heard a few times from Maynard (in interviews) that he doesn’t believe in putting out live footage, saying that seeing it takes away from the experience of when you’re actually there (or words to that effect). It doesn’t surprise me that live footage is not in this tracklisting then.
Who knows. It could be hidden. But it’s not like Maynard to go back on his word and ideals.
There was a live APC track on the ‘aMotion’ DVD. It was only one song (The Noose?) so maybe the Vicarious DVD will have a live version of the song included somewhere, hidden or not. I think the person who first mentioned the live stuff also said a live version of Swamp Song was included. We’ll see soon enough…
I don’ wannna sound stupid, but if you play de vicarious dvd in a pc, you will find that in the main screen with the “x”dude looking at the horizon, if you possition your cursor in the sky where he’s looking, the cursor changes from an arrow to the pointing hand, as if there was a hidden icon, but when you click it it doesnt respond. Also, when you open the video directory of the dvd, you see all the videos, but the thing is, the 2nd largest video can’t be opened. It’s around 617mb large, almost twice as big… Read more »

Sorry to dissappoint you bu the 617mb file is the Vicarious video. The smaller one is just the main menu loop. I’ve gone over the DVD pretty thoroughly (and I’m far from an expert) and I’m reasonably confident there’s no hidden live footage.
Check again cuz I’m pretty sure the Vicarious video is 331mb, and it CAN be watched from the video directory. Thank you anyways dude. I’ll be waiting for your response.

I got the videos the wrong way round (331 is Vicarious) but the other one is the looping menu as I mentioned above. Download VLC and see for yourself if you don’t believe me…
What I get when I open the file is the Mindy/Brandi menu screen. Does it make sense to you it’s the looping menu? 617mb? The menu only runs for around 8 minutes. I don’t know…
