Sounds like he enjoyed it, and no doubt it would have been a fun event to play at.  While there appear to be plenty of readers who dislike the idea of Adam “lowering” himself to play such an event (no doubt these same haters would have no objection if he played at their event of choice) I personally don’t mind it.  If we put people up on pedestals then the only way they can fall is down…

No doubt all you sport (and “not quite sport”) haters are considering suicide right now.  Don’t pull the trigger just yet – there will be a new Tool album eventually!

As for the status of the next TOOL album — which Keenan gets asked about in every interview — the singer gave The Pulse Of Radio an update and warned fans not to believe everything they read. "We’re just always writing and it’s just progressing as it progresses," he said. "We normally don’t say anything about anything until it’s actually happening, because there’s a lot of people online that apparently can’t read very well. I put an April Fool’s notice up there for the album release, and it was this year, 2011, I said, ‘New TOOL album, such-and-such a date, 2009, and everybody ran around like, ‘Oh, really, the new TOOL –?’ God, you guys are dumb. I swear to God. You’ve got to read. Please, read."

I hope there is no one that dumb who reads Fourtheye.

This long haired and bearded beast looks a little like Adam.  ZEMKLA JR revealed?

Good luck to potential buyers, limit is one per customer, and from memory the albums cost US$50 each plus postage and handling (though I could be wrong).

Update 2: All sold out now. Were available for about 3 hours from around 5:00pm Australian Eastern Time and sold out some time around 8pm…

As the evening progressed, the party moved down to the lower house (so that even more of Danny’s neighours could be disturbed).  There, in a basement music room filled with analog synths and vintage guitars, those not to bloated began to have a go at the instruments.  After the jamming was over there were reports from those listening to riffs by Adam and Justin (with Danny on drums) that, though unfamiliar, sounded very Toolish.  Having slipped out around 10:30 (with smike in my eyes and visions of 150 mg of Zantac), I didn’t hear these myself, so we’ll just have to take their word of this possible sneak preview of things to come.  Personally, I’ll be it was just a decoy…

My Tool trek has finished for now – only one more show left, tomorrow night at the Perth Big Day Out.  Western Australian’s don’t miss out on this amazing show!

Santoro picked up multiple copies of the comic books as they were released.  Framed pages of the comic book where “Officer Santoro” is featured are hung in his Linden Circle home.  Several of the comic books’ pages were pinned up around the Quincy police station where he works.

“It’s incredible.  I’ve been to two heavy metal concerts and I’m the kind of guy who listens to Jewel!” Santoro said.
