Blair released the Tool January Newletter today, despite the fact it’s February. It talks about, and includes a picture of a bug found in a readers Vicarious DVD, and includes a vision, which may or may not mean something. Blair posted several updates to Toolband/Army today. The first lot where a bunch of pictures from the recent Pigmy Love Circus gig. Some nice work there with several shots take by Danny‘s girlfriend Rynne. Toolarmy members get a close up of Danny in action. To no ones surprise the Signed Salival DVD‘s sold on on Toolarmy for US$200 at around 4:00 PST in less than a minute. Vuduchild (who was lucky enough to score one) sent me this pic which was posted on Toolarmy: Let the bitching about the price of an item you weren’t forced to buy commence…
A Toolarmy Exclusive post today from Blair revealed that a hidden stash of Salival DVD‘s has been found in the Tool warehouse, and that 33 of these have been signed by the band recently and will be sold to Toolarmy members this Xmas. These DVD’s (price unknown at the moment) will go on sale in the Toolarmy Bazaar sometime this Friday. A couple of Toolband updates came out this morning…. Firstly Volto! (featuring Danny) are playing on the 21st of August at the Baked Potato. Check them out if you’re in LA. According to dirtyrockstar on Toolarmy, he heard them saying that Tool would be on tour soon on 97.1 (FM I presume) in Dallas. Apparently the station will be giving away tickets. Not too sure about this to be honest. I’d like it to be true, but I don’t know that I’d expect Tool to tour again until after a new album had been released. According to an exclusive Toolarmy post: Good things are coming… Be patient… Don’t speculate… Good things are coming… Just relax… The post is accompanied by a picture take by Camella of a couple of deck-chairs on the beach, possibly sometime around sunset.
