Re: Legion

Love the casting. Tyrell's wife from Mr. Robot is David's mom (gorgeous woman) and Dani's brother from GoT is his dad (a young Prof X). It was driving me crazy as to why they looked so familiar... then one by one, it came to me. They did excellent work on Ep 3. And that Farouk doll... creepy as fuck...

Re: Tour de France 2019

I’m with HB on this one. Yes, I love to ride, but there’s not much draw in watching other people do it. Highlights are plenty for me.

Did a beautiful 45 mile ride yesterday partly along 2 reservoirs, over 1,800 feet elevation gain. Kicked me arse.

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

@ Hellboy - yeah, all of that resonates, (except for not ultimately loving Radiohead! But that’s where the subjectivity comes into it) I was going to elaborate in my original post but didn’t want to write a book (Children, looking at you buddy...;^). Seeing a band play new material live is a huge de...

I tried to like Jeff Buckley's Grace. It just won't do it for me. I like Damien Rice ten times better.
Shut yo mouf! Buckley was a genius.

Perfect example though.

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

Reading these last few posts re: APC albums and personal ratings brought up an old question / conversation I’ve had with a number of folks over the years. How much does repeat, active listening influence your opinion of an album? Taking into account subjective vs objective, can you “make” yourself d...

Of fucking course it’s ALL speculation.

Ah, poor Liz! I feel your pain. I think Tysun’s behaviour (sic) is atrocious and outrageous. He continually badgers, belittles and bullies the kind and gentle denizens of FourthEye. What is to be done?!?

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

There is your problem you are bringing presumption into a debate. Work off what has been said and construct your arguments accordingly. Not my problem if you presumed a negative contribution as that was neither said nor inferred at any point. That would be “neither said nor implied ...” And Liz rig...

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

Moggie, you’ll get no argument from me on Danny being the biggest focus in Tool. I never cease to be amazed at what that god among men can do with his four limbs. However, serious questions for you, considering no MJK lyrics/vocals. In other words Tool started as and remains an instrumental trio: 1)...

“But eulogy and H I would love to see both of them.” - Bogsty

How about “Heulogy” - a mashup where they play 30 seconds of each song, one after the other to completion?

And yes, H is very high on my list of Tool music I have yet to see live.
