Opeths set bored me to tears mainly due to their overuse of tri-tones and lazy A barchords mashed with repetitive Augemented B Barchords

The band Rival Sons has impressed me. Very bluesy and full of emotions.

Opeth had potential until they got stuck using tri-tones, dull and predictable song writing formulas (soft, heavy, soft heavy), and using cookie cutter pentatonic scales. The fanboys love referring the use of A barchord and augemented B barchord riffs as being epic. Ya-FUCKING-wn Even hardcore Opeth...
