Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

While I don't believe Tool will actually be livestreamed, this site claims that there will be on for their next show at the Rock Am Ring festival: http://www.general-anzeiger-bonn.de/region/ahr-und-rhein/mehr-ahr-und-rhein/Hier-k%C3%B6nnen-Sie-Rock-am-Ring-im-Livestream-sehen-article3571127.html No...

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

Also - I know it's been said but the intermission is such a weird thing - they all just head off and the lights come on. For 10 minutes. Hey Junior, any inside information you can share on why the intermission happens the way it does? Instead of keeping the lights lowered and some Tool-ish music pl...

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

Stand out set, always difficult. Best shows have been the one in 013 from 2001 and the one in Oberhausen from 2006. Being my first and seventh (last so far) show I've seen them. https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/tool/2001/poppodium-013-tilburg-netherlands-23d6548b.html https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/t...

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

Just back from Berlin. Took 12 years to see the guys live again... It was a nice show, but somehow it didn't feel right for me. The setlist felt like it was just puzzled, there was no build up of tension, just one song following the next. What really got me was "Intolerance" (!) Anyway, i...

That's just a picture.

Last time we were in front row and even there I couldn't judge whether it's Maynard or not there in the background.

Re: APC Tour 2018 discussion (includes spoilers!)

Just back from Cologne last night. Nice show, excellent sound! I understand the "concept" to keep the band in the background and dont use any spotlights or whatever, but what I can say? It sucks. It's no fun. It could be anybody standing on the stage doing playback. If this kind of lightin...
