Re: Australian politics thread

By way of explanation for the above, in case anyone is interested in Aussie politics (now that old mate Tyson is absent) the NSW Premier just resigned over an alleged bribe involving a bottle of 1959 Grange that he received from a company executive. The bottle is reported to be worth $3000, a bargai...

I'm getting too old for this! Got home at 7am this morning, I'm wiped out, but I am happy to report that Adelaide did step up last night at The Gov to support some of their own in number. Not a sell out but a very respectable crowd. First up were a local band Burn Collect . The best thing about this...

I hope so NYCH but that creative burn muscle needs momentum. The pressure must be enormous and I can't help but think that there will be a whole lot of second guessing going on. There is a Mog chorus waiting to pounce on their efforts. Its a tough gig. Fair enough though. These guys have had fantast...

you Prometheus haters get the bubble mask gas face. did you see it in theaters? in 3D the way it was supposed to be seen? if you didn't you can stop right there because the visuals were a 10. The Hobbit - The Desolation Of Smaug Very enjoyable. Smaug was mind blowing and was worth the price of the ticket alone. However it still feels way too Hollywood if you know what I mean - but I suppose Jackson has to dumb it down to a point. The parts that have been written specifically for the fil...
