For the record, because everyone has read into junior's comments about that, you can still just as easily assume that they get paid the bare minimum. Not that I give a shit or expect any different. Most companies pay the bare minimum or whatever they can get away with, funny that Tool fans think their gods must be different.

I don't believe that same person has run ToolArchive all these years - there was a changeover at some point from memory.

Anyway, ToolArchive is a nice enough chap. I've spoken with him numerous times over the journey. Like Fourtheye he collates Tool information in a format that people appreciate. Some people are visual learners and like Youtube, others prefer to read.

No every tool fan has the time to check forums or keep catching up on rumors and expectations (like nowadays anxiety due new album coming) so I think it’s cool when we all can have a summary of the things going.
Personally I share those videos to friends that I know like tool and just don’t follow the band with the passion everyone here does. If this tool archive dude makes a penny on yt due these videos it’s cool. He edits and do some kind of job gathering the data. He won’t get rich but it’s something.

I did leave for a little bit years ago because of unrelated reasons (depressed out of my mind, still am), but it's been me since the beginning of the channel in 2012. I have no idea why this one guy thinks I'm some other dude apparently selling physical bootlegs on Facebook. I've never "sold" a single physical copy of any of "my" video uploads nor other versions, and so far I've never given out the actual video files to anyone, but that might change soon. The closest I came to anything like that was almost spending $200 on someone's excellent unreleased master files for a recent concert so I could upload it to YouTube with other angles, because he wasn't going to put it out for free.

Anyway, it appears as if neither a single nor album will be released anytime soon, but they will play at least 1 new song. I'm in favor of Hellboy putting out a PSA about this.

I remember Junior mentioning a while ago that there would be a new stage setup coming with the new record, and that the current setup would remain as a festival rig, I’m curious on how that’s going to work with the visuals for the new songs and what not, and how it’s going to be running 2 different shows essentially... I’m curious if we’ll see the new stage in Birmingham, Jacksonville definitely being the stage setup we’re currently familiar with

I'm rusty on my Tool guitar tunings. Off the top of my head, most of it is Drop D, but BE is Parabol/Parabola, right? Drop C is The Pot, since they had to tune it down to accommodate for MJK's vocals, maybe they've tuned another old song down... Perhaps some of the new material is tuned to something other than Drop D.

So many fkn posts... - Not sure why anyone is giving it to Tool Archive, that dude has one of the best channels on YouTube.... I loved the Instagram clip uploaded by Adam Jones, it was super cool and I am looking forward to the next few days, hopefully we get something.
