Don't know how to add a photo so unable to upload screenshot but Google Paul DeMaio Instagram and its there with a photo of himself with justin Danny and adam. Looks at least a little bit promising or could Just be a total publicity for himself or something.

I think it's just an extension of what Adam said a few days ago: the songwriting is done, just need to finalise vocals. I don't think it means they've recorded or anything, but are getting closer.

I've always maintained that we'll know all about it when Tool actually record - I don't think there will be any real mystery or conjecture over it.

It sounds as heavy as anything they’ve done.

Also reminded me of Metallica though. It’s just a snippet so it could just be the timing of when the recording started.

I really liked what I heard. Slightly different notes/intervals than I'm used to from them. Plus you know... HEAVY. I like.
