These Tool music clinics seem to be going great, they should put the recording of the new record on hold for awhile and do a worldwide Tool music clinic tour, I'm sure real Tool fans would understand.

Na it was Tyson being Tyson. After I joked around about likely giving myself a heart attack or stroke he posted something he thought would be triggering. Basically his way of saying he hopes I die without coming right out and saying it. Read between the lines kinda thing.

Just got out of Filmore. Will report back tomorrow in a bit more detail but was a great experience. Some chick in the front row on a couch had a purse that adam noticed had them printed on it. Called her out on it and asked off the cuff 'wheres jimmy?'. It only had the three of them on it. Guess thats what he calls mjk. Jimmy. Dannys synth is the source of one of the segues which is on the new album and he played it. The thing is at the back left of his kit and about 15 rows of plugs and diodes, which he said only the top right 3 x 5 dials actually do anything. The rest is just aesthetics. Played opiate vid, cut it off at the end of instrumental because of legal issues. Justin mentioned crafting the fib sequence on lateralaus randomly, no intention from outset but it just llayed out that way. Adams wife gets massive migranes that cant medicate so he doesnt listen to music a lot at home. Probably a better summary popping up soon from someone else but those are my hot takes. Few more - someone asked about kabbir cause he was from philly - got blanked. Grandov and adam were fans of each other and marvel had a loose agreement going on so they colaberated. Adam said gingerly the art direction happens entirely at end of album process, and so had nothing to say about direction, theme or who colab with. Danny has massive arms. Like, size of justin torso massive. Shook his hand off-stage at the end with another guy before they did a group pic. Every $ band makes is split 4 ways, inc vip revenue.

From memory Kabir's contact within the band way Maynard more so than the other three, so not really surprised it drew a blank.

Anyway, I doubt people are at VIP sessions to hear about people silly enough to start Tool fansites.
