Puscifer Tour 2015

Same here. Pre-sales were shit. I tried for better luck today and couldn't pull anything closer than like, Orchestra Left N. I'm kinda short anyways so I managed to get one in a Box but I was afraid it was too far left so after about 45 mins of searching I finally settled on Row E Balcony Center. They went faster than I thought they would!

Got floor tickets (row N) for the Oakland Fox Theater. I was getting shitting balcony seats for about 10 minutes during the pre-sale, but kept retrying and eventually got floor seats. I wanted to get tickets in the 1st two tiers on the floor, because they are all closer to the stage than the balcony. When I saw Puscifer there in 2009 I got a seat (2-night pass) behind the row I am sitting this next show. What I liked was that the chairs on the floor were high enough that if you stand up in front of them you actually aren't blocking anyone's view any more than if you are sitting in the chairs.
Anyway looking forward to the show! Gonna be a booty-shaking good time. Excited to see what is in store this time around.

has anyone here been to a puscifer show?? i keep hearing they are great live, and that its almost like a show/play mixed with a concert? Is it pretty similar to the What Is DVD? or was that whole intro they did with maynard talking and setting up the stage just a one off for the DVD? I would like some insight of what to expect from a puscifer show, knowing that it will be completely different for the new album, but still just an idea.

I have been to many Puscifer shows. They are defiantly a show/concert mix. I think Maynard or someone once called a multimedia extravaganza, which is what it is. It will go from a 2-7min video into a few songs, back to a video, pretty seamlessly. All of the different tours have had their own theme/feel. My favorite being the first show I saw, which was the V is tour that had the airplane crew theme (I still have a bag of peanuts that says Vagina Airlines on it). Followed closely by the most recent tour which had the intro with Maynard talking (which they did every night). It was really cool, how at the start of the show, there is literally nothing on the stage, and as Maynard is talking he is setting everything up. No joke, if this is your first time and you can afford it, get one of the VIP packages, they are 100% worth it (assuming they are not already sold out).

I've seen them, though it was a festival set here rather than a full show. It was great, energy levels were high, Maynard interacted with the crowd, jokes were cracked and peanuts distributed. I've said before and I'll say again, Puscifer were much better than A Perfect Circle, who also played that day.

Saw Puscifier at a festival show and then at their own sideshow a few nights later and i thought they were great. Wasnt really a big fan until i experienced them live. Highly recommend seeing them.

Id argue with hellboy that APC were fucking amazing at the sydney leg of said festival he's referring to and that they shat over every other band i saw that day includeing puscifier but thats a whole different matter altogether.
