That's a really interesting change in release dates - you don't often see movies being brought forward several months I'd expect!

^Interesting news. I'm definitely a fan of Denis Villeneuve. Not all that familiar with Dune though, other than the David Lynch movie.

Herbert was a brilliant author. Despite being a fan of Lynch, the movie adaptation was too campy and the acting was over the top. SFX were way too limited at the time as well.
Very interested to see another attempt, but I will not get my hopes up.
