It was a pretty good reason to respond.

You know nothing of me, nor my interaction with anyone here.

I'm curious as to how horribly you reveal yourself to be.

WAIT: ARE YOU C.J.?!

Oh you.

WE know everything of you, unless you lie to us? By US I mean this forum. If that's your stance so be it

If that's the case, why make sweeping judgements?

Louie is a poet. Simple as that.

I liked having back to back new eps. Show goes by way too fast...

So what's up with Jayne? Brain Tumor? Or maybe she's just too smart for her own good?

Nah, I have a feeling it's going to be something significant. They've spent too much time setting it up.

First two sentences: huh?

The rest: Dont know, but I agree with Louie. As much of a pain in the ass as her character is it's impossible to be mad at her.

I was referring to having Elevator #s 2 & 3 airing on the same night. I see they will do the same this coming Monday, airing Elevator #s 4 & 5 on one night as well. Then again the following week with Elevator part 6 and then Pamela part 1 (I knew she'd be back... duh).

If the quality of the writing wouldn't suffer, I would prefer that Louie was in a 1 hour format, vs 1/2 hour.

Oh ok. I'm without cable right now and the site I've been watching them on already has up to episode 6. I assumed they had shown 2 episodes a day the first 3 weeks.

Oh shit, Mog is going to come after you now!! :)

I am torn on watching a series as it trickles out, ep by ep... Vs a House of Cards or Arrested Development (Netflix series) where they pummel you with all eps at once and you feel compelled to binge watch all of them in one day....

I think it's healthier to ingest them little by little, but it can be very satisfying to binge.

Off topic: Have you watched Portlandia? They had a hilarious story line about binging on a series (Battlestar Galactica).

I prefer to watch the series on a week to week basis. I'm so old school I should've been in that movie Old School.

I've not seen Portlandia, to be honest I haven't gotten anything resembling an urge to see it.

I've watched a few episodes of Portlandia and while I think there's some funny stuff, there's a lot I feel doesn't work.

Portlandia is quirky as hell, and it took a while for me to get into it. Not surprised you wouldn't be a fan. And I agree some of it is forced or just not that funny, but there are gems that keep me watching. And I love Armisen.

I also do. Many of the jokes are over people's heads because have never lived in Portland. It's a different animal in Oregon man lol. We call it 'culture' haha

Wow, Louie just basically raped a woman on his show, not once did she give consent

What?

Are you some kind of rape apologist?

Even by Louie standards the past couple of episodes were weird.

Was that flashback supposed to be him and his ex-wife? Why was she white? Did I miss something? Was he married before her too?

And why was Barry's boring story so interesting?

She was reluctant to let the relationship get sexual because she's leaving in a week and it will complicate things even further. She was not saying "No, I don't want to have sex... STOP". She's clearly a strong woman who would have just cut Louie off at the knees if she didn't want it too.

If you spoke Hungarian, you would know how foolish your suggestion of rape is.

Te egy troll, és nem egy különösen jó.

Yes, this story line is quite a departure. While I find it interesting, it's not as satisfying as the previous seasons.

If you watch the credits, his wife in the flashback was "Young Janet". No idea why she was white... but I'm sure that's not the last we'll get of that detail. I've sometimes wondered why the girls don't appear to be mixed race, but never spent much time on that thought.

I thought the reaction to Barry's story was way over the top too... it was kind of sad that he put that much importance on such a minor detail and coerced the club owner to change it... especially after weaseling a ride from him to the club. Very petty.

There were some genuinely funny moments in both eps last night. I LULZd.
