And on that note, the day is done and weekend is here. It's been fun. Have a fantastic weekend. I am sure we will have more fantastic internet arguments until the 30th. Kiss your wife or husband. Hug your dog. Pet your cat. Eat your fish.
Be well

You should ban him. It's not fair on the rest of us. I just feel like giving up now.

Ooohh, so pensive how will it end. Everyone piling on Mog. Mog loving being touched by the whole forum. A whole lot of dick swinging for the greatest intellect in the forum... It is so beautiful and off topic for the Grudge. I liked this thread when we bagged Lazy Bones Jones....

@Children -Thanks for that post, I agree with it too.
Also some music is definitely an acquired taste. We start off with what our parents and environment gift us.I grew up listening to a local country radio station, pianola rolls, Gilbert and Sullivan amateur productions, Neil Diamond, Glen Campbell, Mario Lanza, Barbara Streisand and Roberta Flack. The first record I ever purchased was Queen A Night At The Opera when I was 10.
When I was 17 I first heard Pink Floyd. They opened my ears and my mind. It was another 15 years before I began to experience live rock/alternative music on a regular basis and hearing those sounds in their raw state enabled be to soften towards and embrace music that I once would have described as a loud noise.
These days heavy boundary pushing music is what I am most drawn to and for a long time I dismissed anything with cookie monster vocals. I think Gojira is probably the band I am most excited to see currently. But that's not to say that I still don't love Roberta Flack.
And as we are on the TooL forum there is no Grudge from me. My ears were receptive and open by my first listen. They blew me away. It was the drums. I danced by myself alone in the house.
